Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Apr 19, 2007 5:22 am

We're glad to welcome yet another new member to the growing NFFC family, although these guys are certainly not new to the high-stakes format. Let's give it up for the tag team of David Comings of Elgin, Illinois and James Karamanis as they have signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st and for the $650 Auction League in Chicago on Friday, Aug. 31st. David and James have competed in the WCOFF the last few years and we're glad to have them on board in the NFFC for 2007. Welcome to the family guys and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

We're glad to welcome yet another original tag team of the NFFC family as Frank Ferreira and Greg Bebezas of Nashua, New Hampshire will be joining us for the NFFC's main event for the fourth straight year. Greg owns FantasyFootballTimes.com and has been a strong supporter of our event since its inception in 2004. Last year, they won $500 with a third place finish in New York League 9, finishing 9-4 and placing 43rd overall with 1,699.3 points. Their FantasyFootballTimes.com team also placed eighth in the Consolation Round with 687.22 points. Great job guys and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

It's an honor to welcome another original member of the NFFC and NFBC families back to the main event in 2007 as Pete Lukowicz of Manalapan, New Jersey will be returning to the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Pete has been a big-time supporter of the NFFC and there's rarely a satellite league that he's not checking out!! :D Last year in the main event, his Vegas-2-For-The-Money team finished 7-6 in Las Vegas League 4, finishing with 1,451.85 points. This year, Pete is promising a money finish. Welcome back Pete and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Let's give it up for yet another new member of the growing NFFC family as Terry Tardugno of Waskom, Texas will be joining us for the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Terry has played in high-stakes leagues in the past, but he likes our 3RR/KDS setup and is looking forward to his first venture into the NFFC's competitive contest. I'll buy the first beer in Las Vegas Terry, so welcome aboard. Oh, and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're glad to welcome another veteran high-stakes player to the NFFC for the first time in 2007 as Mike Weber of Freehold, New Jersey will be joining us for two events at the New York Hilton on Aug. 31-Sept. 1. Mike has competed in the WCOFF the last four years and has had great success in the Auction Leagues. He will compete in our New York Auction League (he hopes a $1300 league will form there) and he's also set to compete in the main event. Mike wanted to join us in Las Vegas, but his wife is expecting a baby this summer, so he's going to stay closer to home this summer. Congratulations on the family addition, Mike, and a hearty welcome to our growing NFFC family. Oh, and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $8,000+ in Auction League prizes.

We're honored to welcome Todd Ullman of Canoga Park, California to the NFFC family as Todd brings a lot of prestige and money to our event! ;) Todd won the 2006 WCOFF and the $200,000 grand prize that goes with it. He's obviously going to defend that title this year, but he's also going to join the NFFC in 2007 and will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas for the $650 Draft Champions League and the $650 Auction League on Friday, Aug. 31st, and then again on Saturday, Sept. 1st for the main event. Todd comes highly recommended by Perry Van Hook and I'm trying to give him access to the Message Boards so that he can begin smack talking with the rest of us. First of all, congrats on a great, great season Todd and best of luck trying to become the first player to win both national contests. Secondly, you buy the first round of beers in Las Vegas and I'll buy after that! :D And finally, welcome aboard and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $4,250 Draft Champions League prize and the $4,000+ in Auction League prizes. We're glad to have you on board.
