Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Apr 20, 2007 9:49 am

Let's keep the string of new welcomes coming with the arrival of Eugene Min of San Diego, California to the NFFC's growing family. Eugene is a veteran high-stakes player as he's competed in the WCOFF the last four years, but this year he really liked our 3RR/KDS format and decided to jump in with us. Eugene and I had a great conversation last month and there's no question he's going to fit in well with us and compete to the bitter end for every last point. Eugene will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 2nd for the Ultimate League. We give you a hearty welcome for joining us Eugene and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $37,500 Ultimate League prize. Oh, and the first beer is on me in Vegas!! :D

We're glad to welcome another owner who has signed up for the NFFC Ultimate Draft League this year as we are on a good pace to fill two of those leagues this year. Kevin Schiller of Marina del Rey, California joined the NFFC for the first time last year and quickly won $2,500 as his Purple Helmets team finished second in Las Vegas League 3, going 7-6 and placing 60th overall with 1,666.35 points. The Purple Helmets then finished 34th overall in the Championship Round with 492.39 points. Kevin will join us again at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st for the main event and will compete in the Ultimate League for the first time on Sunday, Sept. 2nd. Congrats on a great debut Kevin and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $37,500 Ultimate League prize.

Okay, let's get back to the signups. I apologize, but Tom and I were busy putting the final touches on our first Fantasy Sports Magazine for the football season and it kept us off the NFFC boards. We're ready to resume operations and get the signups rollin' again.

Let's welcome an old face (sorry Lou :D ) back to the NFFC family as Louis Tranquilli of Clinton, New Jersey returns to the main event for the third straight year. Louis led his 3INTBOY team to a first place finish and $5,000 in New York League 2 last year, placing 32nd during the regular season with 1,724.75 points. 3INTBOY qualified for the Championship Round for the second straight year and finished 25th there last year with 519.53 points. Louis will again be drafting at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st in the main event. Congrats on a great 2006 season, Lou, and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and $5,000 league prize.
