The interest in NFFC auction leagues is high this year as we're already working on our second one in Las Vegas and probably will fill three there again this year. Let's give it up for our newest member of the growing NFFC family as Dennis Lee of Garland, Texas will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Friday, Aug. 31st for the $650 Auction League. Dennis heard about the NFFC from Rich Dunn and will be joining us for our event for the first time. Welcome aboard Dennis and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

We're already working on our second $650 Auction League in New York as our good friend Scott Newman of Princeton, New Jersey will be returning to the NFFC for a fourth straight season. Scott will also compete in the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st, although I'm sure I'll have to remind him about all this a day or two before Draft Day!! :D Last year he led his John Mark Karr team to a 7-6 finish in New York League 1 of the main event and finished with 1,548.25 points, while his Jan Murray team just missed the playoffs in the New York Auction League with a 6-7 record and 1,471.4 points. Welcome back Scott and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize and $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

Greg

This is great that you do this.

It's nice to know alittle bit of the history behind all the players.

Thanks for all the right ups!

Thanks for all the right ups! Yeah, it takes a little extra time on our part to do these, but it's a good way for everyone to know a little more about their counterparts. And as the years go by and the names become more familiar, it's always good to see how everyone did the previous year.

However, I remember last year a guy didn't want to sign up because he did so bad the year before and he didn't want me to post what his finish was in his writeup. I had to tell him that I'd take his signup and take it easy on his welcome message and he agreed to sign up if I did that. Crazy, huh? :D

We're glad to welcome back another veteran NFFC team to the 2007 event as the tag team of Jon Katz and Lee Pollack will be returning to the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st for the main event. Jon and Lee have competed in the NFFC's main event each of the last two years, with last year's "Lamont ya big Dummy" team beset by injuries as it finished 4-9 in New York League 7 and placing 265th overall with 1,447.0 points. I expect better health this year guys as we wish you best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
