Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
Let's give it up for the arrival of our newest members of the NFFC family as the tag team of Jeremy Gnozzo and Vincent Marzullo of Buffalo, New York will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st for the NFFC's main event. This is the first time that Jeremy and Vincent will be competing in one of our live drafts and we welcome them with open arms. Jeremy was so excited about competing in the NFFC that he hit the signup button five times. Wow, I couldn't believe the signups that were pouring in on Friday night. But we've got it straight now!! Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
We're glad to welcome back another three-year veteran of the NFFC family as Scott Wieland of Madison, Wisconsin will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Aug. 31-Sept. 1st for the $1300 Auction League and the NFFC's main event. Scott competed in both leagues last year and hopes to improve on those finishes. His Soupdogs team finished 3-10 in Las Vegas League 1 of the main event with 1,471.5 points, while his Soupdogs team in the $1250 Auction League finished just out of the money with a 6-7 record and 1,383.75 points. I expect money finishes out of this fellow Cheesehead this year, right Scott?! Welcome back Scott and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize and $8,000+ in Auction League prizes.

Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
It's great to welcome back another original member of the NFFC family and a person who made it to the Championship Round last year as Robert Liewald of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania will be competing again at the New York Hilton on Aug. 31-Sept. 1. Robert will once again be competing in the main event and he's jumping into the $650 Auction League in New York this year as well. Last year, Robert led his parker team to a third place finish and $500 in New York League 6 with a 6-7 record, placing 22nd overall with 1,754.85 points. Team parker then finished 20th in the Championship Round after earning a wild card spot with 531.94 points. Congrats on a great season Robert and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

It's great to see all of the new signups this year as we're well ahead of last year's pace with training camps still weeks away from opening. That's a good sign indeed. Let's give it up for the newest member of the NFFC family as Darren Fecich of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Aug. 31-Sept. 1. Darren becomes our 11th team owner in the $650 Chicago Auction League and he becomes our 43rd owner in the Windy City for the main event as we start on our fourth league there. Welcome aboard Darren and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize and the $4,000+ in auction league prizes.

Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
We vaulted past 13 full leagues for the main event -- the halfway point of our goal of 364 teams -- and are working on our 14th league now thanks to three entries from the folks at CreativeSports.com. Lawr Michaels has been our biggest industry supporter of our high-stakes events and he likes to have his writers compete against the best in the industry. This year he's sponsoring J.P. Kastner of Glendale, Wisconsin in the Chicago main event, Lori Rubinson of New York City in the New York main event and Marc Meltzer of Jupiter, Florida in the Tampa main event. Welcome aboard all and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prizes. And again, thanks Lawr for your support.
Last year, J.P. finished 7-6 in Chicago League 6 and placed 135th overall with 1,582.8 points. His CreativeSports Kastner team finished 66th in the Consolation Round. Rubinson finished 5-8 in New York League 8 with 1,422.05 points and Marc finished 3-10 in New York League 9 with 1,367.45 points. Best of luck to all of you this year and we'll await the signup for Brian Walton later!!

Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
My fellow Cheesehead, Jeff Bartkowiak of Brookfield, Wisconsin went from the highest highs to the lowest lows in one NFFC season, but I'm glad to see he's back for another go-around in the NFFC's main event as he will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st with co-manager Justin Rausch. Jeff won $2,500 and earned a spot in the Championship Round while competing in Chicago in 2005, but last year he went to Sin City and his No Me Toque team struggled to a 3-10 record with 1,490.55 points in Las Vegas League 6. I trust the bright lights of Las Vegas won't get to you this year, guys, right? Welcome back and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
