Anthony joined the NFFC for the first time last year and his LINUS team suffered all kinds of injuries as it went 3-10 in New York League 7 and placed 249th with 1,464.65 points. LINUS then placed 124th overall in the Consolation Round. Welcome Anthony and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We now have 11 teams signed up for the $1300 Auction League in Las Vegas on Friday, Aug. 31st, which means we have three open spots left in that event. The latest signup is NFFC veteran Jim Ferrari of San Diego, California as he will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas for that event. Jim competed in the same event last year, but his Team Ferrari finished out of the money at 4-9 and with 1,309.05 points. Welcome back Jim and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $8,000+ in league prizes.

It's good to welcome back another original member of the NFFC family as Adam Miller of New York City is claiming home field advantage once again at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st for the main event. Adam has competed in the NFFC since 2004 and last year he led Team Miller to an 8-5 record in New York League 9, placing 71st overall and fifth in that very tough league with 1,645.80 points. Welcome back Adam and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're closing in on our fifth full main event league in New York as we welcome our newest member of the growing NFFC family. Let's give it up for Andrew Spire of Delray Beach, Florida as he will be joining us at the New York Hilton for the big dance on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Andrew is good friends with Matthew Bayley and he comes highly recommended as a strong fantasy player. Thanks for your trust and support Andrew and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We now have five full leagues for the main event in New York -- 70 teams -- and have room for 70 more teams at the New York Hilton if you sign up before we sell out. Let's welcome another NFFC veteran back to the NFFC family as John Asfar of Red Bank, New Jersey will be joining us in New York for the third straight year. John led his AlphaWolves team to a 5-8 record in New York League 3 last year, placing 150th overall with 1,561.5 points. The AlphaWolves then placed 101st overall in the Consolation Round. Welcome back John and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
