We're glad to welcome another original member of the NFFC family back in 2007 as Alan Narz of Casselberry, Florida will be joining us for the NFFC's main event at the Tampa Convention Center on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Alan is also teaming up with Mike Ward in the Ultimate Draft League on Sunday, Sept. 2nd. Last year, Alan's Team America finished 4-9 in New York League 9, but Alan is promising a money finish in 2007. Welcome back Alan and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're glad to welcome another original member of the NFFC family back to the 2007 event as Stephen Nover of Henderson, Nevada will be returning to the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Stephen has written a book on fantasy football and has had good success in the NFFC in the past. Last year his EOG.com team finished 7-6 in Las Vegas League 7 and placed 138th overall with 1,579.20 points. Stephen will facilitate the auction and Draft Champions leagues in Las Vegas on Friday and then get down and dirty on Saturday. Kevin Hudson and Chuck Pope of Kersey, Colorado became our 28th team to join the Las Vegas Draft Champions League as they grabbed a spot in the $650 DC League. That gives us two full leagues in Las Vegas, with 11 owners currently signed up for the $1300 league. I'll make some phone calls today and see if we can't get three owners to switch to the higher-priced league and close this out. Kevin and Chuck are new to the NFFC and we welcome them with open arms. Thanks for joining the competition guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 league prize.

Actually, I forgot to announce this signup last night, which got us closer to two full leagues in Las Vegas for the Draft Champions. Tim Williams and Stephen Fiore of Upland, California were already signed up for the NFFC's main event and have been original members of the NFFC since 2004, and last night they added to their weekend of fun by adding the $650 Draft Champions League at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Friday, Aug. 31st. Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for this $4,250 league prize.

Greg Morgan of Westerville, Ohio is an original member of the NFFC and NFBC families and we're glad to report that he will be returning to the NFFC's main event again in 2007. Greg has been trying to clear his work schedule to join us again in Las Vegas, but it looks like he will have to settle for Chicago this year. Last year, Greg led Team Zap FM to a 7-6 record in Las Vegas League 3 and placed 165th overall with 1,549.25 points. Team Zap FM then placed 37th overall in the Consolation Round. Greg is still trying to get in the Friday auction league, but for now we wish him best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Joseph Conte of Campbell, California grabbed the last spot in the $1300 Draft Champions League in Las Vegas and will be joining us on Friday morning, Aug. 31st at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Joe is already signed up for the main event and he was interested in doing the Ultimate League, but it looks like that second league won't come to fruition. We're glad to have you on board for this league Joseph and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $8,500 league prize.

We're glad to welcome another original member of the NFFC family back for the 2007 event as we're now one entry short of a 22nd full league. Let's give it up for Scott Keikoan of Las Vegas, Nevada as Scott is claiming home field advantage for the fourth straight season in Las Vegas. Last year Scott led Team Keikoan to a third place finish and $500 in Las Vegas League 6 as it went 6-7 and placed 62nd overall with 1,664.95 points. Team Keikoan then finished 78th overall in the Consolation Round.
