Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
We added two more teams to the Chicago main event on Saturday, Sept. 1st as Mark Koester of Michigan and Tom Spinoso of Madison, Wisconsin grabbed teams this morning. I'll give more thorough updates of both games on Sunday, but Mark competed in the Chicago Auction League last year, while Tom is an original member of the NFFC family who has competed with his wife Tori (Kaldenberg) Spinoso in the past. Welcome aboard guys and let's get three more teams in the Windy City to close this city out.

We're glad to welcome another new member to the growing NFFC family, giving us 82 teams now in Chicago for the main event, two short of a sixth full league. Let's give it up for John Rozek of Chicago, Illinois, who signed up this morning and will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. Welcome aboard John and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Okay, let's officially fill up Chicago with 84 live, warm bodies!! To do that, we need to welcome back Dennis Cassidy of Lee's Summitt, Missouri. Dennis is in about a dozen satellite leagues this year and he didn't think he could make the main event because his partner had a wedding next weekend. But they somehow figured it out and Dennis will be at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st to draft in the main event. Dennis led his Sound Advice team to an 8-5 record in Chicago League 1 last year, while placing 228th overall with 1,488.15 points. Welcome back Dennis and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Latham Conger III of Palatine, Illinois grabbed the last spot in the Chicago main event last night. Latham is good friends with Thom Greutman, whose NFBC team is currently second overall. Welcome aboard Latham as you just sneaked in under the wire and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
Great job once again Windy City participants as this is the second straight year we've had 84 live, warm bodies in Chicago for the main event, SIX FULL LEAGUES!! This will be a FUN, FUN time on Draft Day at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. Thanks again and good luck everyone.

Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
We had two spots open in Tampa and we'll fill them via phone with some die-hard NFFC veterans who just couldn't make it to the live event but were dying to get in. The first on the list was the tag team of Scott Gunaca and Mike Williams of Romulus, Michigan and FantasyJungle.com. Scott and Mike have been with the NFBC and NFFC since our inception in 2004 and they also run a first-rate contest at the Jungle!! Many of our participants in the NFFC also play their online contests and they know that these two guys are busy, busy next weekend hosting their own leagues. But they want to remain in the NFFC and hooking up via phone is the only way they can do it. The opening in Tampa allowed that to happen. Last year, FantasyJungle.com finished 4-9 in Chicago League 6 with a 4-9 record and 1,497.7 points. We welcome them back for another season of competition and wish them best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. And good luck with your contests this year too, guys.

Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
Filling our final spot in Tampa is Don Jagoda of Sterling Heights, Michigan, another NFFC veteran who has business obligations that are keeping him from attending the live draft. Don was grateful that he could get into the main event via phone as he had a great season last year. Don led Detroit Adroit to first place and $5,000 in Las Vegas League 8 last year, finishing 11-2 and 11th overall with 1,801.25 points. Detroit Adroit then placed 44th overall in the Championship Round with 1,801.25 points. Don has competed in our Ultimate League in the past and we're glad we could fit him in this year. Welcome aboard Don and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
