More Slow Draft Offerings Part 3: $50, $125, $250, $375

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Jun 17, 2009 7:34 am

We've had some more interest in continuing the NFFC Slow Drafts. We've already filled four $50 leagues and two $125 leagues. Let's offer one more of each and try to fill our first $250 and $375 Slow Draft Leagues. Again, just a reminder that these are Draft Champions Leagues, so after you draft them you just let the computer pick your optimal scoring lineup for 16 weeks and the top three teams in total points earn prizes.

Once we get closer to training camp, we'll start running more Slow Drafts and even some where we can play out the leagues. We will also offer some die-hard satellite leagues with just 60 seconds per pick for those who are ready to draft and want a fun experience with NFFC veteran players. Stay tuned.

Okay, here's the latest signup list:

More Slow Draft Offerings Part 3: $50, $125, $250, $375

Okay, we let these die down for the holiday weekend and through our magazine deadlines, but let's pop this tread back up near the top again and see if anyone is interested in another Slow Draft. We'll stop offering the $50 Slow Drafts soon as we near the satellite league season and get serious about drafting.

The one drawback with the Slow Drafts is that some leagues are MUCH slower than others. That happens with the $50 leagues, obviously. Let's try to fill up some of the higher-priced Slow Drafts soon and get serious about them, with folks being available to pop out 2-3 rounds per day. We should be able to finish these in 12-15 days, which is a workable pace for everyone.

Okay, the Satellite Leagues start at the end of this month. Let's fill up some Slow Drafts before then and continue offering these through the early part of August. I know we can fill up all levels over the next two months.

Who wants a spot in the next draft?

[/QUOTE]Love the pay-out structure, Top 3 get $1400 of ME entry. Working out great in the NFBC Slow Draft I did, same pay-out. I'm in 5th place and while it could be tough to get into 1st place, 3rd is a reachable goal with handsome reward!!!

Glad to have you back and this $375 league is shaping up as a dandy with die-hard NFFC vets. Let's get this filled and start drafting before the end of the month. Thanks all.

Hopefully you can join us again in Las Vegas. We're off to a good start and the Friday events are filling up fast. Stay well and best of luck the rest of the way in baseball.
