Is it time for PPR across the board?

Well, I guess not all MEs are created equal as mine looked like this:

3 QB
13 RB
12 WR

That's nearly 50/50 with WR/RB THIS year. I guess we'll see what the future holds.

Plus, in the 3rd rd. it was 8 more WRs to 6 RBs.

So, after 3 Rds.:

20WRs
19RBs

Wait, what about the 4th Rd.? Well, more of the same!

6WRs
3RBs
3TEs
2QBs

So, after 4 Rds.:

26WRs
22RBs

That's 22 RBs taken in the 1st 4 Rds. out of 56 picks! Stud RBs are becoming extinct!

WRs are already ahead in 1 or more drafts THIS season. Yeah, I'm pretty confident we'll get to a 70/30 split in the 1st 3 Rds. in the future.

I guess we'll see what the future holds.

Stud running backs are becoming extinct because of the philosophical adjustment that is being made by a number of teams to finally adjust for the size and speed of players. The ebb and flow of the NFL is shifting and our fantasy numbers are proof.

Some of us were drafting our 4th WRs before our 2nd and 3rd RBs for years.

This year I believe that "trend" to go WR early and often is an adjustment to the scoring system and state of the NFL.

Having said that, I believe that the fact that more teams are going WR heavy early, definitely opened the door to a variety of draft plans to build a deep and balanced team, even in the 14 team format.

I actually think that this scoring system should stay just as it is and let the fantasy players adjust to the ebb and flow of the NFL game. Factor 3RR into the 14 team format and you have the most challenging and satisfying contest on the market. I would like to see this challenge remain mostly as it is.

You can do whatever you want to the 12 teamer.

Note: If 12 WRs go in the first round next year, so what?
