Hey Tom, just a quick question, in the Chicago Auction League for Head to Head champ, Myself(Brahma Bulls) and NuhNuh were both 11-2 and I was victorious over him in our head to head matchup. He did outscore me on the year by 10 points for the point total championship, but why would this 1st tie breaker be total points for a head to head championship when his team was already rewarded for most points, instead of head to head being that tie breaker? Just wondering?

Hey Billy Waz, did you see my previous post about how is total points the first tie breaker in head to head championship instead of head to head? This is my first year in and don't quite understand why? Can you enlighten me a little. Thanks!

Head to head isn't even considered (nor should it be) in this league, because you only play each team once.

The tiebreaker between 2 tied records is points scored. It is that way in ALL NFFC leagues.

That being said, you drafted a great team, and I hope you pull "something" from this league.

Enjoy your week off, and hopefully I will get a crack at you in Week 15! :D

Sorry I missed your question Chris, but Billy's answer was correct. The first tiebreaker is total points. That's the way we want to set things up so that you are still rewarded for having a good team even if you have some misfortune during the season that impacts your W-L record.

Thanks daddy, but why is it called head to head champion then? I think this is a solid question.

Chris, we've made total points the first tie-breaker in the NFFC because we feel it best reflects the top team over 13 weeks if teams are tied with head-to-head records. Because of bye weeks, it's possible that a team didn't have all of its top stars during that h2h matchup that you described above. Taking total points over 13 weeks is more reflective of the best team than that one week matchup. Again, that is our reasoning for the setup we currently have to break ties.

Congrats on the solid finish and the first round bye gives you a solid chance to profit in the playoffs.

FBG is the only rational explanation. other than me running two baseball teams, subscribing to FBG was the ONLY significant change.
