Thoughts on this weekends games

I don't remember the odds...I'm sure the odds were very high...I'm sure that guy watched every second of that game... :D

Saints win. Philly wins with the spread.

Saints "Hero": T. Copper -(recovered the Reggie Bush fumble. The Saints scored a few plays following that recovery.) ((((Okay, maybe McAllister's 143 yards and a TD could take this award instead, but Copper's fumble recovery was huge))))

Saints "Goat": Reggie Bush -(52 yards and a TD in the stat line, but the entire second half, Bush looked like he was out of his league. His stats say 1 fumble , but Brees was credited with the second fumble that Bush was partly responsible for. Bush was out of place in the backfield to receive the pitch-back.

Eagles Hero: Westbrook -(116 yards, 2 TD's, and thow in 3 catches. He gave his all today.)

Eagles Goat : TIE...D. Jones and S. Young -*(D. Jones had the penalty on a Saints scoring drive, that changed a 2nd and 27 to a first and 10.)*(As the Eagles grabbed a first down on 4th and 10, S. Young jumped and was penalized with a false start that forced the Eagles to punt instead, with just over 2 minutes left in a game.

No doubt than fumble should've been on Bush and not Brees. First he took his eyes off the ball to watch a defender flying in, then he took a circular route to recover it because he wanted to get in position to pick it up and run ... looked like a rookie today.

I think the Saints will score 35+ on either the Bears or Seahawks. If you are a Saints fan, make your travel arrangements now.

After betting a parlay this time, for the first time in about 3 years, I remembered why I stopped betting before. Every penalty I see, every dropped pass I see, I want to reach through the TV and smack these pros around a little...lol

Heroes and Zeroes
-----------------

Heroes:
10 Gostkowski-calm and steady rook.
9 Brady- a blessed life
8 Saints punter- getting little love for an
outstanding play/decision.
7 Terry Bradshaw- only one to publicly praise
the Saints punter. ESPN and NFLN
didn't even highlight the play!
6 Reche Caldwell- Nice move you former Bolt.
5 Tony Dungy- Way to reverse the '05 karma.
4 Vinatieri- M$O$N$E$Y
3 Deuce- Circa 2003.
2 Troy Brown- Comes up big, remains invisible.
1 Robbie Gould- The new Adam.

Zeroes:

10 Jerramy Stephens- Same old same old after your
Dallas "break-out".
9 Grossman- Ya played fine, but looked like a
man headed to the electric chair as
you entered the stadium.
8 McNair- some poor choices there old warrior.
7 Colts "O" Coordinator Moore- Really confused
Balt with that hurry-up!!
6 Brian Billick- Just for being him. If Ravens
ever fire him, hope he does not end up
in your town. groovy pompous arse.
5 Urlacher- Soldier Field is on Lake Shore
Drive. You were there? Really.
4 Eagles backup RG-Just unfortunate.
3 Chargers secondary- You know who you are.
2 Eric Parker- One pathetic showing, son.
1 Dan Dierdorf- I could go on for paragraphs.
Makes me wonder that Beckam's
arrival to the Galaxy may actually
have pertinence. No longer humbled
by the MNF firing, he is again an
out-of-control blowhard. His voodoo
doll should be available on NFL
Shop.

thanks, HMan83

Seriously Blackhand, those picks are impressive.

I know if you do a 3 team parlay, you get $600 per $100 bet. I don't even know what you'd get on a 4 team parlay. I hope you stuck to your guns and bet your predictions.

You guys that draft in NY really know your stuff.

KoQ ... did you get the +170?

Put my money on the Chi/Sea OVER.

I would have taken the +170 moneyline but they didn't take the money lines where I was.
