'For now' implies a possible future change.
'Is my starter' states the present.
Which do we give more credence to?
As of now, the coach is saying, "We'll see."
Typical [/QUOTE]super mario manningham said he was "good to go" and ended up inactive. can't trust anybody these days. why give out actual injury info and help your opponent prepare for you better?

remember pierre thomas was supposed to be ready for the regular season? we saw how well that coach's prediction went

Coaches THINK they are making it tougher for their opponent.
I still get a laugh out of Mangini holding back on naming Quinn his starter for the opening game. Kind of like he was invited to a gunfight and was holding back on his choice of either darts or a slingshot as his preferred weapon.
