Most Injury-depleted Main Team 2007

1) What 1/2 game did Westy miss? He was PULLED because they were destroying Detroit. Based on his history, you are LUCKY this year Snake (but lets not take that into account!)

2) Ridiculous! I guess I and others can count Roethlisberger as being injured because he missed MOST of the 2nd half against Baltimore???

TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!

3) MAYBE.... just MAYBE if you had free agent $$ you could of replaced these players?

This is clearly a pathetic attempt to make yourself look like you were the only player ravaged by injuries. As mentioned A.Green, J.Walker, V.Morency, etc. were clearly injury risks and V.Davis over much more proven players (Shockey, etc.) was YOUR fault.

Besides having a partner and rum and xanax (both ridiculous excuses), what is your reason for doing so poorly in 2004 and 2006???

3 out of 4 bad seasons constitutes a trend ANY way you slice it Snake! :(

Coltsfan,

Thanks for the kind words. I happen to have the team that is second in overall points (ambiguously gay duo) in my league and I am tied with him going into today for our league title head to head. He is likely going to beat me and I will try to cash for second and sneak into the post season.

At least you can read. The POINT of my post is that lots of teams had injuries... Injuries are part of the game... and it is up to the fantasy owner to do his/her best to manage around those injuries to field a good team. I was trying to show Snake that a team that had lots of injury challenges this year, likely more than his team, is 9-2 and fighting for the post season now.

I think he missed the point...lol

I am just trying to hold onto the points league in my league (Same as Snake's) and I have
L. Johnson
B. Jacobs
S. Holmes
L. Coles

Thank God for T. Brady ( God I hate to say that!)
I am starting a WR from the Panthers not named S. Smith and a 3rd down running back, its not a pretty picture but hopefully I can manage through it!

Wallbanger,

If you had the foresight to draft Brady you can manage through about anything this year. I am playing someone in a WCOFF playoff game today with someone in his lineup who is OUT for the week (ward) and he still likely will win thanks to Brady...

Renman,
I agree (although I will probably not win this week), my point is that we are all dealing with a very difficult number of injuries and not one team has necessarily been hit harder than everyone else as some might try and lead us to believe. Obviously you have done a tremendous job with an abundance of injuries/injury related negative production.
Good luck the rest of the way and hopefully we can both enjoy and a productive post season!

wallbangers,

My point was in reference to the person to started the topic/thread. If you saw my FIRST post I made it clear I accept that injuries are part of the game. I completely agree with you.

Good luck with Brady tonight...

renman,
sorry for the misunderstanding. I had read your previous post and I knew where you are coming from and I knew YOU were NOT whining about injries (it just didn't sound like that in MY preious post). I know we are both referncing the same post and the complaining on injuries

Wall,

Nice to see how things can be on a message board when people pay attention and do not get lost in translation...

Now that I can't win my league h2h against the brady guy, I guess I can root for brady to go nuts and pump me some points through welker for the wcoff...lol

good luck.
