Slow Draft Satellite Signup

I spoke today with Greg, and Jason at MDC, to get all the details lined up, so here it is:

(1) We'll do a 14-team NFFC DC (Draft Champions) format with a $125 entry, winner-take-all prize format. The start date will be ASAP once the league is full. Ideally, we'll have a KDS deadline set for the day after the day the league fills, then start later that day or the next day.

(2) The slow draft format will allow each player a maximum of 10 hours to make a selection when its their turn to draft. (Based on other slow drafts I've done, expect the whole draft to last 10-14 days).

(3) If no selection is made within 10 hrs, a player will be pulled from your draft queue. If no players are in your queue, it will go by MDC's draft list (which also has some intelligence built in so you don't end up 6 QBs or 6 Kickers).

(4) After talking with Jason, it sounds like the MDC setup for slow drafts is better than the other options out there (which go slower than needed because of a poor or non-existent queue selection process). Specifically, you have the option of turning on the auto-pick function to select from your queue immediately when your turn is up, so if you can't get online for a long while you won't hold up the draft. The draft clock WILL NOT be turned off at night.

(5) Finally, if people are picking too slow for your liking you are welcome to berate them on the draft site chat board, but don't call Tom or Greg (or MDC) to complain. And picks won't be rolled back if you forget to pick.

I know a lot of you guys sign up for slow drafts in other lges --- MDC has a good setup for this, let's fill this lge!
