Anybody in the FFTOC?
I checked the players used Thursday and got scared. I switched Dunn to LT and Fitzgerald to Mason. With Brees at QB looks like I'll be fine now.

Those numbers should be enough, my only worry is that lots of guys no doubt loaded up to try to make the cut. I bet we make it, but not by a lot. Next week the fun begins, good luck.

The whole exercise is to qualify by as little as possible. I think LT was used by many, many teams this week. It would have been great to keep him but way too dangerous.
Thanks for the calcs. I think those numbers should put us in.

Just caught wind of the thread, I started out 178 going into week 12 - I burned M.Harrison so I felt pretty good about things until I saw all those Julius Jones and M.H and Peytons behind me... I dummied down my lineup anyway - I pulled crumpler for shockey and r.smith for l.fitzgerald - Im hoping that didnt burn me ! It looks like I'll be around 1284, we'll learn soon enough !

Q Quahog - I've got you at 1284.3, 0.6 pts ahead of me.
I ran a random sampling, and depending upon how key players do tonight - Favre, Driver, B Franks, T Holt ... I expect the cutoff to be in the range of 1284-1288.
Bad news for JP, I think he'll be out. Quahog and I are likely to be right on the bubble. Bad games for the players I mentioned and our odds improve. I'll update my prediction after the game.

geez, I thought a 134 which would have been my 3rd/4th best week would have given me a lot of breathing room. I know 11 teams behind me through 230th place took manning..I wonder if anyone deployed the strategy of leaving a wr spot open... if their other players were solid play macdonald, if bad play holt. ? In any event I think the 1284 mark is solid - 180-190.
fingers are crossed though.

fingers are crossed though. Q I know what you're saying Q - I felt better until I looked at the numbers.
I looked at this week's scoring for the last 10 tms that would get in (thru wk 11) and the next 10 that would just miss.
Many have players going tonight. Assuming tonight's QB scores 30, the WR's score 15 and the TE scores 5 ... the top 10 of those bubble teams would end with 1288 or more pts. That is the basis for my analysis. No doubt many lower tms will move up and others will move down, but I think its a good estimate of the cutoff point.
I assume most of those going tonight have Favre, Franks and either Javon or Driver. Hoping for a low-scoring game!

Predicted cutoff: 1279.4,+/-5 pts
Quahogs in. Zefurs in. JP right on the bubble.

Just my luck.
Last week I was knocked out in the FBG contest by 2 points with the cut going to 400 from 750. I ended up something like 420 out of 10055.

JP,
it was my 1st year in the FBG pool, though getting bounced weeks ago I thought it was a very good concept. WIth so much manuevering in the other leagues I enjoyed not having to second guess myself each week in that one. Good luck to us all in making the 200 cut.
