Hi Tom,

Is ther some magical number of Brett Favre posts that will get you booted from posting on the site ... I don't mind pushing the limit ... but I don't want to get locked out.

BTW ... when the latest talk was Favre would compete for the GB starting position ... I was really glad to here it (he should be a Packer) ... The word is now .... they are talking to the Vikings ... It's better than the bench!

Well, that is a reason I had not heard from you before. It felt like there was something else you had not said before. Really? I don't recall saying anything other than it didn't look like Greg and I would be taking part. There's no sinister explanation involved here. Honest. It just might not work out unfortunately. [/QUOTE]Yes, that's what I read from you previously. I'm not implying that you were sinister. But it sounds like if you traded comps, you'd be in this year.

Who is your #1 sleeper pick for an RB and a WR after round 10/pick 140? I wrote in my blog last week that I really like Maurce Morris' value. I think he could deliver similar (and perhaps better) production than Julius Jones and you can get him 6-7 rounds later.

At WR, I think Isaac Bruce represents good value after the 10th round. If you're chasing upside, Ted Ginn wouldn't be a bad guy to chase.

It's better than the bench! Conflicting reports about the Vikings deal. According to my buddy Jason Wilde of the Wisconsin State Journal, the discussions were extremely mild. Peter King is also reporting that Roger Goodell has stressed the importance of the Packers keeping Favre. I don't think Goodell should be getting involved but if he can do so in a way that makes Ted Thompson do the right thing I'm all for it.

After watching how bad Aaron Rodgers looked last night in the team's scrimmage, the Packers should be happy Favre is back.

But, TK, the Packers have gone a new direction. Aaron Rodgers "is our starting QB".

Would you consider a suggestion? I think there is some value next year in posting the magazine drafts results and maybe asking 1 or 2 of the leagues to do a strategy write-up.

Sometimes I feel like that mag drafts lose some value when results aren't shown. This way your prospective new customers can get a sense for what it takes to win in a 14 or 12-team league with 3RR or auction.

Just a thought.
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.

We tease quite a few rounds with the magazine league drafts but we don't want to show all of the results since we do need to sell magazines. But if people want to talk about their teams we definitely encourage it.

Those drafts & leagues will be final and this way people can see how last year's mag draft unfolded and then see the final results.

I guess all I'm suggesting is to post the final league results from the previous year's magazine drafts.

Many are intimidated in looking at 3RR, 14-team leagues, DCs, etc. I just think this might be a way to bring them up to speed and hopefully lessen their fears to hop in.

If we get more pages that's definitely something to consider. I think the current drafts would have more value, though, so maybe there's a way to tweak the format and allow for comments from the participants. That's something to look at in the future.

TK, there have been a few threads about the odds to win the NFFC Main. What do you think the odds are for someone to win it?? Do you think veteran players have a better shot or newbies??

I'm not a gambler so odds aren't my specialty. I do know that we've had new winners every year and as you know, a first-time participant won last year. There are certainly plenty of highly skilled vets in our events but as we've seen every year, there are plenty of newcomers with quality fantasy skills who parlay their ability into a nice return on their investment. So we'll see what happens in 2008.
