Tom - would u take maroney in the mid 4th? I think the value is good there. I would have given him serious consideration in my slow DC draft at 4.7, but he happened to go one pick before me! [/QUOTE]If you're lucky, u might get to make another pic tomorrow...

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

Also, call it the "baseball moto" that says to draft talent (maroney) and pass on non-talent (e.graham) that may currently have a better job. U disagree with this, correct? Fantasy football is as much about opportunity as it is about talent. Maroney is more talented than Graham but I don't think he'll be in as good of a situation and therefore I expect Graham to outproduce him.
I'd rather own Maroney in a DC league - unless he slipped in my draft into RB3 territory. I'd take him there without hesitation.

I am thinking the missing of two games (or 3) is a massive negative when you only have 16 games (assuming your fantasy team makes the playoffs). Where Smith falls to should be interesting.
Tom,
A few questions for you to entertain us with.
-How many TDs does Brady finish with (plus/minus 5)?
-Do you change your value for Grant if Rodgers ends up the QB over Favre?
-What have your heard about Ronnie Brown and his progress?
-Do you think Martz leaving Det profoundly impacts Kitna/Williams/Johnson value in the passing game?

OK, the last question of the day. We'll keep doing more of these as we get set for the NFFC and NBC events.
1. 30-35 minimum for Brady
2. If Rodgers starts I think Grant will be in the 8-11 range among RBs. If Favre starts, I think he has Top 5 potential.
3. Everything sounds good with Brown so far. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? He's always healthy during camp.
4. I think we'll see less from the Lions' passing game because they'll try to run the ball more. But Williams and Johnson have more than enough talent to deliver for their fantasy owners.
