I try to be, Lance, as the only time I normally get wound up is over the two no-no's, politics and religion. Everyone on these boards is pretty much passionate about FF and that's really what counts.

You have brought some very interesting ideas to the table and I'm sure you have more than perked Greg's curiosity with the last suggestion about upping antes to add players to the main event. As there has been a sufficient amount of overflow of players to this league from and because of the WCOFF, there is a lot of interest in a challenge league between the two.

Question, can I assume that because of their size that the WCOFF isn't offering its members the satellite leagues that Greg is offering here? Year 1 the only satellite league we had was the GEKKO Challenge as prior to the start of the season Mark had rubbed a lot of people raw but was willing to step up and start a satellite league for those of us who wanted a piece of him. Last year, Greg expanded to 15-20 satellite leagues and this year the sky could be the limit as I am already in 7 and the recruiting season has really just gotten under way. I think Greg has done an excellent job setting up the satellite leagues in that it is an excellent tool to get people used to the 14-team format but to also give people an outlet to play at the financial level they can afford with an opportunity to play in a national game. He also allows us to form our own satellite leagues which you aren't going to find anywhere else. You'd be surprised how many people would take you up on your "Lance 16-team Fantasy Football League" with the right price and specs. :D

Cost I believe is $220, and all the winner gets is a free entry to next yeaqrs draft. I'm not sure if that includes your "entertainment fee" (that is SUCH BS! ), but even if it did, that is worth around $1,600.

Doing the math, 12 teams x $220 = $2,640. So they are making OVER $1,000 PER league on their satellites! If they charged $150, they would make a profit much like the NFFC satellites do. Obviously MAKING $$$ is MUCH more important than the product they are putting out.

Right on Billy...........WCRAP is all money and no skill. The only reason they get all there sign up's for the big show is the $200,000 grand prize.

I might get my a$$ bit off. :D

$2000. Then again, it was only $200 last year. It going up to $220 (entry fee)is preventing me from joining this year. They are paying out less than 75% and it is winner take all. Luckily we won by 3.5 yards. All or nothing can be fun but with the profit being made, they should consider paying $100-$200 for second. JMO

You could use that $$ for gambling in Vegas. :D

That whole "entertainment fee" is what gets me. I just went to Dave & Busters the other night and when you buy a new card, there is a $2 activation fee!..... FOR WHAT????

All that is to me is padding your pockets with something that isn't necessary, and the *****'s "entertainment fee" is the SAME THING!

Give the people the option, but don't FORCE them to pay it.

So how you gonna pick our team Greg.....1st 13 or invitation only? I say Greg should hand pick this team. Then he could properly enter the WCOFF Saloon with his gunslingers, and challenge Lenny et al to a duel.

Draft times should be set for High Noon (EDT, of course).

This will be like the Magnificent Seven, only there will be 13 of us -- 14 including Greg :D
[/QUOTE]Agreed on all! But I want the whistle from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly to follow me into the saloon like it followed Clint Eastwood through the whole movie! :D

Taxes I guess. It cost us $500 of the $2000. If you get the free package into WCOFF, and you want to enter, its worth it. We won but they wouldn't let me back in.
