Higher EF does not = better competition. It could, but not necessarily!
Same thing goes for WSOP. $10k EF doesn't exclude the tourney from "dead money".
Just a thought.

2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.

Just a thought. Which has more dead money...14 teams or 6358 at the 10K event? Which carries more prestige...the 10K main event or the the first event in the WSOP?
The biggest title is the main event...the second is the Ultimate due to risk/reward.

The main event champion gets the money...but the winner of the $50,000.00 entry H.O.R.S.E tournament is regarded as the best among his professional peers.
(Or...they just want us to THINK that, so they gain an advantage on all of these No-limit Hold'em players who've learned the game so well, they've cancelled out the Pros advantage in that particular game...and wish to gain the advantage back be introducing new games!)

Value Of Winning The Ultimate League???
Junkie is NOT totally off the mark. As a fomer
$100K winner said in Vegas last year "The Ultimate is nothing short of a Pissing Contest".
Having said that, the ante is almost 4X. So
is the house cut. I'd put the winner's picture
on mag covers too if I were in Greg's position.
To me the best players are in the DC'S and Auction events.
