Look at Me, Me, Me, Me, give it a break. I can't tell you how many potential new NFFC potential players that have asked me about this great event and when they go and check out the message boards they quickly change their minds...

RiversideSheriffSoCalSmac... I'm not quite sold on the idea that people would not enter the NFFC because there is smacktalk and complainers. In all my years of fantasy football most every league is filled with it (on both national and local levels.) If that's what someone has to avoid then they definitely don't belong on the national stage.

I've come to expect it, accept it, even enjoy it to a good extent.

That being said, it's the insults and name calling that gets to me. I've been on the bad end of such remarks and it's not fun. -z-

Agreed, SMACKTALK is good and there will always be complaining. It's just not as fun when a good topic gets posted on the boards and before you know it's the same B.S. of insults and namecalling.

Good point, more so when someone keeps it up, and doesn't or can't take it. My wife put it best 'A baby cries for attention, a Man cries because he's a baby'.

All in all it just comes down to, can You accept how really good or bad your are.

Sorry - just feel like venting. In a local league I run - I have an owner complaining that the NFL news he gets - no matter how much he researches is unreliable. He benched Witten and is pissed off that Witten is did well yesterday. He says there is no skill in guessing how a player will perform (hello - THIS IS Fantsy Football) He says we should be able to switch players in and out of our lineup - DURING the games.!!!! I would think he is kidding but he has been on this tangent for about a week. I told him I dont know of any software that would accomidate it and I would not run a league like that.

Jules is in the league also and he was offended that she made a derogitory comment about Plaxico Burress around a trade that involved him. "How could she know he would get hurt !" LOL. I like this guy but he is a handfull of a team owner all year long. I guess I am earning my 1/2 free team !

I would be crying if I were in that League and had to go up against You and Jules. Who else is in that League? Does that guy know at least how good You are?

They know my claim to fame. I dont think Jules gets the respect she deserves. Maybe if Jules kicks thier asses for a few more (yes she is kicking but in my leagues too) years they will start to beleive. Other people in that league are some locals and a few high stakes players - Jim Nicola (Pickpockets), Berger Kings (Richard Berger - my partner in many high stakes leagues), Michael Cohen -Mini Attack.

It is a poker/fantasy football league - we play poker pre-season to determine our draft order. Its a fun concept - I would love to have a league like that in Vegas under one of the high stakes venues.
