If You Find Roster Mistakes Or Have Log-In Problems After Today

Post by Tom Kessenich » Wed Sep 07, 2005 4:07 pm

John, we are partners with STATS on everything we do. They are responsible for loading all of the leagues and making any fixes that come up due to mistakes that are made. So if there are fixes to be made having you contact STATS directly simply eliminates the middle man (me or Greg) for one day. Trust me, I've put in a lot of hours this week making sure all of our leagues are set up right and everyone is taken care of. I will probably be cutting short my planned vacation in order to continue to do so. I'm not looking for sympathy here; I'm simply pointing out that I'm willing to do whatever is necessary to make sure our event begins without any problems tomorrow night.

Asking our participants to contact STATS directly is not passing the buck. They are the ones who will make these changes -- we do not do any of that -- and they have a customer service e-mail on these boards directly for that purpose. So if you (the customer) are having problems of this nature it makes sense to have you contact the people directly who can help you fix the problem. Wouldn't you agree?

Again, I really am sorry for any delays and problems that people have encountered this week. I mean that. I know you guys are anxious to get this thing going and you all want to see your teams. That's why everyone at Krause and STATS have been working so hard the past two days to get all of the teams entered and loaded on the Web site. I am not dumping anything off; I am merely asking for everyone's cooperation so that we can expedite any corrections that need to be made. If you see a problem with your roster than contacting STATS is the direct move since they are the ones who will fix the problem. STATS will do their job just as we're going to do ours. That's a promise.

Sorry guys, this is lame........ We shouldn't HAVE to check. This should be a service handled without incident considering the dollars we put up for this. Kickoff only 1 day away. Poor job. Ken, you've e-mailed Tom and I several times with the access problems to your teams and we've e-mailed STATS each time as you know because you've been cc'd each time. I understand your frustration but I trust you feel mine too. Again, you've been cc'd each time and unfortunately you have to e-mail us/STATS each time again. It's a poor job, you're right. But Tom and I are doing everything we can to get your teams straight and it's not from a lack of trying. I'll drive down to Chicago myself next time you e-mail and get those teams set up myself if I have to, but right now all I can do is ask STATS again to get you set up right.

It's not that your teams were being loaded late. For whatever reason, STATS wasn't giving you access to those teams and I know tonight you're still missing one. It's in the system and now we need it to show up on your "My Teams." I feel your frustration, but e-mail me again tomorrow morning if this still isn't done right and I'll call STATS again.

Sorry. That's all I can offer right now.

Walla Walla, thanks for seeing my point. Everything is up and running now. Might even be able to make it out in time for kickoff now. ;)

Tom, I can't believe you said that! We payed the NFFC for these leagues not Stats. Asking us to ensure our rosters get fixed by dealing with Stats isn't right. You and Greg should ensure every roster is entered correctly before taking off for some other deal. The job is not complete until everyone has thier teams entered correctly. If this is being done than I stand corrected. But by your statement it sounds like your dumping it off on us to ensure Stats does thier job. I can see where Sack is upset. John, all of the leagues are loaded, but some owners are having problems getting access to those teams. STATS provides all of the usernames and passwords, so Tom is just trying to get you guys the correct access. I'm not sure why so many owners are having trouble accessing their teams as this should be the most seamless part of our jobs. You guys pay, STATS gives you usernames and passwords and after Draft Day the teams show up under your "My Teams." Sounds simple, but it's not happening right now for everyone.

I would be frustrated too if I couldn't see my team right now. STATS will send out a mass e-mail tomorrow to ALL NFFC owners with their usernames and passwords in case they missed them and all of the teams should be properly showing by now. Tom and I will forward any and all e-mails to STATS and that's fine if you want to do that.

Neither one of us is running off before Week 1. If anything, I could still use a good night's sleep. Let's just get everyone access to their teams tonight and get everyone's starting lineups in place for Week 1.

The good news is that there are no FAAB pickups until after Week 1 and all starting players can be activated 5 minutes before kickoff of their games. But for all the guys heading to Las Vegas this weekend for the WCOFF, I certainly want to get everything handled properly tonight.

By the way, I'm in the office at 715-445-4612, ext. 284 if you or anyone else needs help. No need to sleep tonight.

Greg, thanks......just knowing you are working on it was ALL I asked. Reading that FIRST post set me off. STATS never seems to respond to problems when I address them and with the season starting tomorrow I didn't want to get caught with no lineups or errors. When I go through you or Tom - it gets resolved. Teams are set now....thank you.

Ken, I wasn't trying to set you or John or anyone off with my post. So I apologize if that occurred. But I can assure you that no matter what happened we were going to make sure your team was set to go before tomorrow night's game. STATS is working with us to ensure that occurs as well. As Greg said, you were CC'd on all of the e-mails I was sending to STATS regarding your situation so you know how strongly I was stressing that this matter be resolved. I'm sorry it wasn't resolved in more timely fashion, but the good news is it was resolved with plenty of time to go before tomorrow night's game.

Good luck from here on out.

Good luck in the NFFC and good luck this weekend in Las Vegas. Win 'em all this year and we'll celebrate in March in Las Vegas.

Now if you don't mind, I may go home soon and get some sleep.

I'll forward your message to STATS, Gordon. Did someone from STATS e-mail you tonight? I believe they said they were going to get in touch with you to get this taken care of.
