Welcome Don!

I prefer the back end of the draft also this year but I would still be happy drafting near the top. When I look at draft spots I do it with the intention of getting certain players in rounds 2 and 3. I kind of like the top spots in DC's because you can get a stud QB at the top of round 4.

I think you have to evaluate 3RR over time as opposed to any single year. In some years it might not matter while in others it will balance out the advantage of going first. Just because there isn't that clear cut huge fantasy stud this year doesn't mean that 3RR is no longer a good thing. I'm definitely in favor of 3RR until it appears to be unbalanced over time. When you look at last years results it was very balanced in regards to where the league winners drafted from. Just my 2 cents.

Wayne Next week I'll go through the NFFC Classic and Primetime final results to show where the top teams all drafted from. I know I did that after Week 13, but I didn't update it for all of the league championship games. I will next week.

However, of the 48 teams who qualified for the NFFC Classic Championship Round last year, 24 came from the 1-7 spots and 24 came from the 8-14 spots. That's the type of balance any game operator would be happy with. Here are the facts:

** Of the 48 teams in the Championship Round, they drafted from the following spots:

No. 1: 2 teams
No. 2: 7 teams
No. 3: 3 teams
No. 4: 4 teams
No. 5: 1 team
No. 6: 2 teams
No. 7: 5 teams
No. 8: 6 teams
No. 9: 0 teams
No. 10: 5 teams
No. 11: 3 teams
No. 12: 2 teams
No. 13: 6 teams
No. 14: 2 teams
CANT WAIT TO SEE THIS CHART AFTER NEXT SEASON IS OVER.

Of the 10 or so drafts I have been in so far this year by far the best results seem to be coming from the late round on slots...and not nearly as good from lower spots. I know this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me all ltter round picks in all my NFFC leagues...14-1 will be my choice every time. The very last thing i would want is an early pick and picks 5.6.7.8 seem like they would be trouble too..and of course i drew pick 7 slot in my first ever draft here... all in all im happy to be here though and do look forward to drafting with you guys and I know you have some very respected players here.

Saying this all i am kinda new to 3rr so i could be off some..how do the majority of owners here feel about 3rr this year? Are you guys all solidly behind it? Does anyone think what I am saying might be on target for this year..i do know this WR are flying off the boards like ive never seen so far in drafts ive been in this year. One last thing..its seems that if TE's would get 1.5 here it would fit in perfectly in this leageu set up... whats the feeling on that around here as well? I am not at all trying to change anything in anyway shape or sorm i am just stating my opinion and trying to find out whats the feelings on these things around here..so please dont kill me about these things...yet...lol..take care all nice to be here!

Don- Azzurri-Beantown in da house! Donny, after your tirade after getting knocked out the FFOC last year, I asked someone I knew at the Everett Fire Dept if there were any calls to the Term. residence. I guess someone talked you off the ledge. I see you are crossing over to the NFFC boards. Why all the bitching about 3RR? Do you want every football event to be the same? If so, why would you look to play somewhere else? If you think the grass is greener at the end of the draft, then this game is made for you. You have a better shot at getting your desired draft slot. I'd also like to say buyer beware....those players you like so much at the end of the draft might move up and not be available to you. Remember today they are only names. Names don't win titles. Points do!

The feeling here is: we like this game and hope it is here long term.

With all this NFFC talk from you, will you actually play in the main event? In the past you have played in the lower priced games. I do remember reading a thread where you declared yourself the best fantasy football player. If you are, it's time to get off the junior circuit.
This is unreal now..what tirade? I just mentioned what happened and that was it as far as the week 15 late line up switch..i don't know you but do know i played with you in some WCOFF Sats in the past and am sure i did pretty well in them and think you may have as well. I have said ONE of the better players never said the very best and don't need words being put in my mouth like this. I am more like a cash game player in the poker world, i go where the easier money is and spend the most cash there. I have not played in a major tournament yet to date but do plan on gettign in one of these years. For 2 grand in 1-4 high stakes sats and can win 15-20k, there are some sites that are much easier to win at than others. Sure I could do both but the timing and travel for me the first few weeks of Sept is very difficult for me. Now there is online options i know and will play in those at some point..but this negative is just not worth coming back to if this is the case here, not sure if i deserve this but if so...then whatever i dont think so...who are you anyways? Do you live in Mass..ask the firemen about me first then you'll know that i am just a good guy. I guess you may be kidding but i do know plenty of those guys at the EFD. I had a tough beat, a very tough beat just made the wrong choice at the last second, had it gone my way this would all be a different story but i guess made the mistake of posting about it somewhere..which tells me posting is not the way to go for me..lol but really..take care guys not sure i can deal with much more of this..esp. this issue..

So, how has Westy's recent ankle surgery affected his draft status? Well, he just went 18th in a recent Slow Draft after going in the first round in every previous Slow Draft and magazine league draft. Is he destined for second round status going forward?

Westbrook could be a gigantic steal. He's risky as hell given his age and durability issues but if he's even close to full health, he's a Top 5 fantasy RB in all formats. To get a player with that type of potential in the second round could be a huge value.

Or he could break down and kill you.

But that's what makes this game so much fun, right?
