I just said to Greg that Westbrook could be this year's Reggie Bush. Bush was a late second-round pick in most drafts last year and that was great value given his receiving skills. Yes, he missed a lot of time but when he was on the field he was a Top 5-10 RB and was a reception stud. Westbrook obviously has similar talent.
The key with drafting Westbrook is the same as it was with Bush last year - make sure you have good RB protection for when Westbrook gets hurt. Because he will get hurt. But if you do that and Westbrook doesn't break down completely, your team is going to be much better off because of the value you received in the second round.

Snake I respect your opinion, but I cant forsee him getting drafted that HIGH.Due to the severity of his injury and the lenght of his rehab, they are hoping that he'll be ready for opening day.Saying that how much time are you going to see of him in preseason?Very little if any, therefore anyone drafting him that early is clearly taking a shot and hoping he's the old Westy and basing this pick on the past or is a Eagle diehard.I've always been a Westy basher and keep waiting for him to brake down, well as Mike Francsesa says on WFAN "If you didnt go to the wedding, you need not go to the funeral."

Holey **** ! ALL teams took a QB within the first 5 rounds !?!?!?
This must have been a masterdrafters league. Sometimes people fear getting shut out and follow the trend but really ? Palmer,Roeth,Cutler, Ryan, Garrard and ORTON all in round 5. Im shocked. I would rather have been the team to get W. Parker at pick 84 - LOL

Nearly 50 percent of the first-round picks were WRs. I'm not sure we'll see too many drafts with that high of a number but it sure adds more evidence about how the value of WRs is climbing - and increasing the value for RBs after the first round or two.
