The first waiver wire period will have tons of draftable players in the June drafts, where the AUG drafts waiver wire will be bare.
Uneven playing field IMO.
~Lance I think it could be a slight edge in June, worth a shot anyway, but there are pos and neg points ... still, surprising they haven't filled the one lge for this weekend given the opportunity (there were 2 last weekend) ...

Diesel it would not have to be a perfect team just real good, suspicious but not so far out that it could be thrown out. There is enough high stakes experience to pull this off. You just cannot run a high stakes league without a random league draw. The NFFC will probably have their own online championship next year. Maybe we'll all learn something from those mistakes, and Greg and Tom will have a step up on the competition in 2009, by guaranteeing all online leagues be random...There's got to be a way to do it.

I was actually worried about the uneven playing field for someone drafting 10 days before others, but felt that would be the best way to do it. I certainly understand why WCOFF is doing it the way they are, but I agree that it's tough to have June drafts being compared to late August drafts.
June is a tough month for fantasy football. In fact, it's one of the deadest months of the off-season. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for training camps to open NOW!
