As much as I was down on Anthony Gonzalez, I am just as high on Addai. I feel like we'll get to see weekly wows from Tom here. The Colts offensive line is healthy and Addai will be a terrific value come season's end. Barring serious injury of course.

If he can repeat what he did Sunday, that is pretty good value there.

Probably one of the lone Bengal fans on here. Yes, I'm actually admitting this. Surprised? Nope - been happening to this team for years. Told my Son not to walk away, the Bengals are called the Bungals for a reason. Roy WIlliams looking to deliver a hit while Stokely slips in behind him. Genius ......... nice hit ROY.

Laverneus Coles dropped every ball Carson tossed in his direction. Had a bad feeling about Coles, but he fell so far in two drafts I took him and actually played him on two teams. Ouch - painful.

I respect Football Outsiders. I've never been a Kyle Orton fan, but they didn't exactly bury him in the book. I approached him this season with an open mind. Didn't roster him, but I did buy in on Marshall in a few spots. I'm hoping that the OUTSIDERS didn't miss the target with him.

Joe Flacco - Damn, didn't see that coming. More about the fact that the team would be conservative to a fault before allowing him to air things out. Sure does have the look already of that QB that leaps into the top 10 of the rankings this season with the big boys. Happens every year.

So, did Coles get some targets? I can't access that info here at work and didn't pay much attention to that game.

Thanks

Bush was drafted and ranked way too high considering he's always hurt and he was hurt going into the season. (although that is a given any season, so it was easy to overlook) I don't draft someone in the 3rd or 4th round that will play 8 games ONLY if all the stars are aligned. You don't even want to know how low I had him ranked BEFORE they announced that he was actually injured.
Let's just say I didn't have to drop him one place at that time.
People have their own systems. I like to start out with as healthy a team as possible.
If you listened to his excuses again this year about his current injury, then it's all on you. He's been talking exactly like that since day one in the NFL. P Thomas quotes this year were literally word for word. "I want to play, but I have to think about what is best for the team..." It's Saintspeak.

Flacco should not be starting in the NFL at this time.
He was given the job by default last year due to 2 injuries. He was actually #3 on one of the worse offensive teams in the history of the NFL.
They are still one of the worst, and he isn't one of the best 20 QB's in the league by any stretch.

Garcia (Oak's best QB 2 weeks ago) is much better than Flacco right now, and Garcia can't get a phone conference with the Chiefs because he would be a #5 on the Chiefs as of today.
We wouldn't take Flacco if you paid his salary, because we are a passing team.
Balt has promised to improve their offense and passing for the last 7 or 8 years. Yet they still have one of the worse passing teams in the NFL.
Ravenspeak. "Really opening things up this year" and "if Heap stays healthy" are Ravenspeak for "we are going to suck on offense again and you have been warned".

And you left out that the Chiefs are obviously going to rattle some cages this year.
We taught the Ravens some very valuable lessons in that regard yesterday. Ask John Harbaugh, Flacco and Ray Lewis how they regard the new Chiefs team compared to last year. I wonder what they would be thinking if they were 0-1 with one home game against the Chiefs off their schedule.
Harbaugh told them it was a different team, but no, they wouldn't hear it.
The next one that doesn't believe their coach will regret it. You give 100% for 60 minutes or mark it as an 'L'. No auto-wins like last year.

Side note:
I just heard Garcia went to Philly.
Let me laugh for 30 minutes. I love Garcia. Not in a T.O. "Garcia's a ***" type of way. Or even a man crush, that's too close. But didn't he just light it up at Philly? How quickly we forget.
We should have taken that call so we could divert him till after week 3.
Still want to take Flacco as a #2? I think he'd be passable as a #3. There's guys that can actually throw, on teams that actually pass and that really have genuine WRs. Big tall fast mean guys.
Not like "oh! we are really expecting Demetruis Williams and Devard Darling to open it up this year. Oh yes!...Now if Heath can stay heathly...All we need is a rookie WR to run the Wildcat..." Give me a break.

A WR says "Baltimore", take 27 seconds off his life. Look it up. Wikipedia.

side note 2:
Anything that later proves untrue, I was just kidding and was just my opinion.
Anything that proves true, not so much, and is the fact Jack!

Love Flacco this year. I'm a huge fan of his and I think he's poised to make a big move up the QB rankings this season.

As far as Bush, the guy is money in PPR leagues when healthy. He's one of the few RBs you can put down for 5-6 receptions every game. That has huge value in a PPR format in my opinion.

I give the Steelers run game a mulligan for that one and will wait a couple more games before I condemn Parker on our bench behind Ahmad and Leon.

Besides, I'm not sure why so much love for Moore?
Steelers RB Mewelde Moore totaled five carries for eight yards during a Week 1 win against the Titans. His longest carry went for four yards.
Sportsline-Moore please sandman , i dont want 2 see your name afyer i score 150 and lose to you. lol

I hear ya Blackhand. Tough one. Thankfully, the NFFC allows point-leaders into playoffs, so we can all hopefully withstand this occasional fantasy football frustration.
