This is the price you pay for being on top, so spill the real beans!!! I'm reminded of a Wall Street movie quote:

Gekko: If you need a friend, get a dog. I'm not 100% convinced you guys have his real name yet, lol... ;)

Having spent the majority of my life in Louisiana and Texas and owning a half dozen John Deere hats and being the "dumb hick" that I am, I don't see GG as a John Deere salesman. Not much demand for that in his neck of the woods. :D Day trader or entrepreneur, yes, Deere salesman, no.

I'm not 100% convinced you guys have his real name yet, lol... I'm guessing Bolt Upright, Dash Riprock, or Dudley Doright.

Yes, Walla Walla, I was in Las Vegas and Tom was in New York. But Tom interviews all of the weekly winners for the newsletters and online stories and so he reported Gordon's day job. He was just reporting what our subject told him. So far, we've kept Tom away from Gordon, sending him to Chicago for baseball when GG was in New York and sending Tom to New York for football when GG was in Las Vegas. It's part of my master plan.

For baseball, our plan is to send Tom to Las Vegas and Chicago. More on that later (call him Dash from the Incredibles).

There's no knock on John Deere anywhere in this thread. Hell, I've passed a John Deere tractor each night this week going home in rural Wisconsin as it's harvest time here. We'd be lost here without those green tractors. But I think you must admit that all of us assembled in Las Vegas in September expected more of a pinstripe suit from Gordon than the green John Deere T-shirt he wore on Draft Day. If we can't have some fun with that, then we're all way too sensitive.

As for those new graemlins, you guys are too much. All of those new flashing creatures and pictures sure make our Message Boards soooooo pretty.

Same down here in Louisiana, Greg, as it's sugar cane harvest time and if you don't own a Deere, you get shot at for being un-American. Football, hot dogs, apple pie, and a John Deere tractor.
