How Bout A Tuesday Chat?

Tom, who are you picking tonight at #4? Who are your top 4 anyway? I'm stuck at #5 and I think you'll take my guy.

Doesn't it always work like that?

I'm not afraid to tell you who I'll take. I'm assuming Priest or Edge will be there at 4. If both are there I'm taking Priest.

I was chatting with Dave earlier about how much I hate the 11 hole. If I come out of this one looking competitive it may be my greatest accomplishment. :D

I think this will be the most difficult area of this years draft. Alot of the RB's look the same in this spot and since not all will fare well it will be relatively easy to tank your 2nd rounder.

Maybe I'll just take Owens and call it a day. Where's Peyton going in tonight's draft? Should Dyv take him at 5? I'm at No. 8 and need a stud RB. Someone give me one! ;)

I think the RB that has the most upside (once you get past he first 4 picks) is Kevin Jones (Detroit). He's beefed up to 235 without losing any spreed, has an unbelievable receiving corp to keep the defense honest and oh by the way the easiest schedule against the run.

If Harrington can't get the ball to the receiver, garcia will and in either event that will open up the running game.

I haven't heard too much on theboards about KJ - any thoughts?

John, I'm a huge Kevin Jones fan. He finished last season like a beast and the Lions want to get him very involved in the passing game this season as well. He's a legit future fantasy stud RB, no doubt about that in my mind.

I won't be taking Kevin Jones unless he falls drastically. I'm a Lion's fan.

Tom, do me a favor and take Edge will ya? I'll make it up to you in carbonated coinage in Vegas ;)

Greg - sit back and wait for Curtis Martin - that guy is dynamite!

I won't be in Vegas Dave so I guess I'm just gonna have to take Priest at 4 if he's on the board.

What is the cutoff date for owners joining this year and what date will the leagues and draft positions be announced?

Do we know yet?

Our registration period ends on Aug. 28 or whenever we hit 350 teams, whichever comes first. We will announce the leagues and draft positions on Monday, Aug. 29.
