Bubba , you may have something there with the point theory, I was just trying to avoid the " LT " syndrome, where everyone is like, damn you only get 1 Rb, how do I compete with the guy that has LT. But, I definitely like that 3x max on a player rule, really adds a whole other level of strategy. Yeah I figure with all the time we have to bang this out, we should really be able to come up with a fine sword. Do you think multiple leagues of 8 teams and a 3 week play-off would be better.....?????

In a league I ran a while back each position player needed to reach a minimum number of yards to score any points.
For RBs they got jack squat until they hit 50 yards. Then they got 3 for the 50 and 1 point every ten after that.
WRs and TEs needed to accumulate 40 yards before they got their first 3 points and 1 per 10 after that.
WR and RBs rcvd 1/2 point each catch.
TEs got 1 pt per catch.
QBs needed to pass for 150 yards before they rcvd their first points and x points every 20 yards. We also used 4 pts per td pass. They did get 1 per ten yards rushing as did WRs and TEs with no threshhold to meet.
The concept was that they needed to contribute to their team to receive points.
Times have changed with the advent of the dreaded RBBC but this type of scoring system has some merit and makes the game a little different.
Maybe something like this could be possible.
I can take this years stats and plug in a variety of scoring systems and then maybe simulate a draft or three to try and see how it might work within your concept.
Please remind me in a few weeks (after week 16) and I will try and do something.
My plate is a tad full right now.

Teddy Baby, that sounds terrific, your the man. Anyone else that would like to contribute to this topic , please feel free, we have plenty of time to construct this league/s for a new satellite division. That is pending Greg and Toms' analysis and approval. What do you guys think G & T ?
