I can definitely see your side to it Tamu, but I'll go the other way with it. Favre loves to spread the ball around. But if he had someone who he can depend on, he will throw a lot more their way. Driver had a bad season last year, and Walker's $1 price tag is like buying Microsoft when it first came out at $1 a share. If Walker just runs true routes this year, there will be Sterling Sharpe type numbers for him.

Thanks guys for your opinions. Good to hear two different sides. I'm leaning toward Johnson. I actually believe Palmer will be an upgrade over Kitna.

Too many times last year Kitna underthrew Johnson. It was frustrating to watch.

However, if word comes out of Green Bay that Walker, who looked sharp during mini-camp, will be Favre's definite No. 1 target I'll probably go Walker.

Another thing to keep in mind about guys like Walker, Porter, or any other #3 WR, is they are being covered by #3 DB's, usually nickel-backs. Remember James Thrash's "MONSTER" year in Washington a few years ago? The Eagles start slobbering & make him the go-to guy (#1 WR), & he averages 650 yds & 5 TD's over 3 seasons. Reason: He was being covered by shut-down corners & no longer got lost in the mix. Johnson will be sure money, Carson Palmer & all. Walker apparantly has yet to earn Favre's confidence, otherwise all this talk would be about how he will steal touches from Green & Driver.
