Regarding "Deadwood," the show is good, but not NEARLY as good since Wild Bill got knocked off.

Agree, King. Carradine was great as Wild Bill and it shocked the shyte out of me when he got capped so soon. But c'mon...Swe-gen? His performance was one of the best in TV OR movie history. People won't like this, but Deadwood kicks The Soprano's to the curb. JMO

I love these boards. It went from Lamar Gordon being over-paid for to 1860's South Dakota. Isn't fantasy football great? If they had a Western draft, who would be the first pick? I would go with Doc Holiday. Wyatt Earp would go way too early.

If Doc Holiday were drafted first in the WCOFB, be careful not to waive him early in the season.
Agreed on McShane--simply a classic performance. But better than Gandolfini? I have to meditate for a few months on that one...
BTW, when does Deadwood, Season Two premiere? How about Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Carnivale? Best shows on TV are on HBO, always have been (Larry Sanders, Dream On), always will be (see above).
Except for that Arli$ crap.

Nice to see her take out the loud mouth!

Am I the only guy who thought that calamity jane was painfully overacting? Loved the show (although I would have like some more plot momentum -- similar meandering plot as Carnivale), but thought she was awful.
Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

I think the Sopranos is not coming until 2006 for the final season. Deadwood, has been renewed, but I'm not sure when the new episodes will air. I hope we don't have to wait for another year...Kocksukka's.
