I haven't been charged by CDM,Fanball or on my credit card. CDM does delay billing $750 of each of my High Roller teams until August 28th. So I'm sort of use to them sometimes waiting.

I'd take my chances with commish Stan over commish Nag any day.
Who's the senior commish going to be Leroy's? Karl Rove or Dick Cheney? I like Obama pal.

Kevin, is this true about the FFOC?? Are you saying that even though you've participated in these online drafts you haven't been charged? They are going to collect from everyone AFTER they've drafted? Please don't construe this as me insinuating anything, I'm just asking to see if this is happening to everyone or if it's just been you that this has happened to because I'm pretty sure you've drafted a few times already.
This doesn't sound right if drafts have taken place and cc's haven't been charged yet. Wouldn't you agree?? I can't imagine running a single satellite league in the NFFC before credit cards are run because obviously there would be many reasons for folks not to run the cards and I'm sure CDM understands that as well.
Just a simple answer on this point would help me understand why they would do this as it just doesn't seem common. But maybe it's an oversight for your situation or a wrong assessment. Thanks. [/QUOTE]That is true, they have not swiped anyones cc.
Not sure how to take that?

Not swiping cards, my take:
-- The operators are waiting to see if they meet their go/no go point.
-- That means they are less likely to screw me if the challenge folds because they have not TAKEN my money just yet.
If they cancel, it is much less work and maybe they do not incur fees from the transactions?
I am not in business so I do not know if you as a business incur fees based on transactions that are charged and then reversed? Would this cost them money to charge and then reverse the charges? If so, it makes sense to not charge the cards if you may not move forward.
If they cancel, no harm to anyone other than maybe sitting thru a few drafts.

If there's a seemingly infinite amount of money behind this operation, and the operators are prepared to go forward with a loss of $1 million, why not just charge the cards now?

Customers might be left out in the cold this year.

I would say that when the cards get charged, the event is a go.
Until then, it is everyones best guess but I feel comfortable giving them my CC info and drafting until they make that decision and subsequently charge my card.
If your INVESTIGATION is complete then make your decision. If it "bothers" you then don't join.

Lef out in the cold based on a $125 entry fee? Aren't we over reacting a bit?
If you are resting your FF season on one $125 challenge, then you will get what you almost paid for! If you bought 50 teams or whatever the max is, then you also got what you deserved in the current High Stakes market.
