If it is because the ST designation, then why not a point or 2 for a blocked punt or blocked kick?
A kick block is pulled off by the Def/ST.
If we have a Def/ST designation, why are no points awarded for a block? And why can't the td's go to the guy that scored it? I totally agree with you on this one. I feel that if you have an offensive player score on a special teams or defensive play, that player should also get 6 points. Whoever has the defense should get 6 points as well. That just my opinion but I would like for this to be considered for 2007.
[/QUOTE]One or the other... If I have Drew and the JAX D, and I get two TD's from the same player, that's really lame.

This topic is simple..

Use DEF/ST, returns go to ST.

Use Def only if you want Drew to get the TD.

The industry has heavily shifted to DEF/ST since the advent of the net, so leave this alone...

UFS,

I am all for humor, those who private message me in hysterics from what they say are "some of the funniest sarcastic stinging posts typed by anyone here" seem to think I am more than funny enough and not anal at all.

However there is also nothing wrong with some serious fantasy football discussion too without mocking other ideas. If someone came to this thread saying "I think extra points should be worth ten because of the following..." I could disagree without mocking...

I just understand some MOCK here hoping to impress others (you were clearly impressed) and people feel cool for some reason when applauded... I know that is how some are on message board...

I am not one of them...lol

Ren - here's one of the better stingers I heard. You had BOTH sjax and m.drew on your team, and you found a way to lose the 100K. Look at how many points they each scored in the playoffs!!! You just messed up the best chance you will ever get at 100K. Ouch! That one had to sting!

The man already said he doesn't post here to impress.

And don't speak for me either. I just posted that I understood his post the WAY HE INTENDED it to be, something you simply can not understand because you lack the ability to see anything from anyone else's view but your own.

You don't understand, you are ASSUMING he's trying to impress because you don't understand how to use humor, which is clear in all of your incredibly anal posts.

Not looking forward to your next drier than dirt post that saps the fun out of playing this fun game and makes me want to hurl.

gekko,

Don't you see that your transparent efforts to upset me are laughable? I had both of those guys on my team because I drafted a brilliant team. I also drafted several of the other best fantasy players to outperform their draft position (Brees, A. Johnson, Colston). I am actually quite proud of my performance and team and I appreciate you highlighting it.

REAL fantasy players understand sometimes you get some bad luck postseason time OR sometimes when your team is simply average you can have a generally unimpressive player (like say, Drew Bennett) GO OFF and someone can get lucky the other way and win a title. Immature fantasy players will make some effort to mock or disparage those who seem to threaten them here.

At least you don't try to hide which type of fantasy player you are...lol

yeah gekko, ya really got me!

UFS,

Ah, someone interested in fantasy football is posting here. I agree with you that you cannot give TWO TD's to one team on the same TD in regular football (the example you gave). You actually said the same thing I said a few posts ago.
