The only one fixated on anything is you with yourself.
"I've posted 1000 times"
always referring to some mythical cult following.
You post, people respond. Get over yourself.

Now can someone please get the topic back to 3RR? Occasionally a few "adult" men can get fixated on me and turn a thread bad. They always say I am exaggerating this "fixation"... we will see if that is true by the next few posts...lol Will they be about me or 3RR? I hope for 3RR... FOUL! FOUL!

You really have a hard time following subject matter don't you. "Score more friends"...others get it ....why don't you?

Wow, not sure why I think there is a small sad message board fraternity that is consumed with me for not joining their club...lol LOOK AT YOURSELVES! Grown men too...
I at times have repeated the same FOOTBALL BASED paragraph in an effort to return the discussion back to the topic I am interested in (football) and away from the topic the message board posse is interested in (renman obsessing/whining).
UFS,
The example you showed of me "waffling" is the classic LIAR example where message board clowns take a singular statment out of context and compare it to a different statement in a different context in a sad and desperate attempt to impress their message board posse pals (gg is a world class professional at this.)
There IS EVIDENCE that 3RR might not be necessary... have you noticed the STUNNING GROWTH in fantasy football WITHOUT 3RR? Having said that, I am a supporter of 3RR as I find it personally interesting and it adds texture to the game. No one educated or mature would see that as waffling.
If you were not so incredibly desperate to get a cyber high five from the boys here, you would not embarrass yourself with what you said. I waffle on nothing. I see there is another thread on 3RR... maybe the posse wont be so threatened by my every word that they turn that thread bad too.

Renman, before yesterday, when was the last time I replied to a post of yours? I dare you to look it up. There have been no replies in 2007 before yesterday and you've posted in several topics I've never been a part of. So quit accusing me and others of being obsessed with your posts. I don't reply to your posts any more or less than anyone elses.
The only one obsessed with anything is you about yourself. Using this frat accusation thing when someone disagrees with you is boring, redundant, and getting very old.
Fantasy Football has had STUNNING growth because of several things, the two most significant are the 1994 baseball strike and then the adoption of the internet to the masses around 1997.
The growth continues when features are added to each niche market that enhance the value of the type of game being played.
In this niche, things like FAAB, Reception points, KDS and sadly, improved customer service, along with other items have been added in the last five years to make these products grow. 3RR is just another feature added to the above to make this niche grow even faster than it would without it.
Those that don't innovate and constantly improve do not partake in the stunning growth you speak of.
Since Emil e-mailed me earlier this week about how I use KDS, it appears that it is becoming more widely adopted.
Since I am implementing 3rr for FB, it is being more widely adopted, and I already adopted a more severe form of 3rr in hoops seven years ago.
Your question is the wrong question.
Have you seen stunning growth in FF without innovation?
The NFFC would grow w/o 3rr. It will grow faster with it.
The collective experience of the game operators and it's customer base say that there is a very high chance of 3rr working.
And I will say it becomes adopted at the same rate as all the other innovations of the past five years.

These are good points. I hadn't thought of the impact from the strike. Are there any numbers that show the growth after the strike and the influx of internet play that you speak of? I think that would be interesting reading.

UFS,
I have no idea how often you pay attention to my posts. It really is of no interest to me. What is of interest to me is fantasy football talk. I have read 2 sentences of your post. I will now return to it and see what is most interesting to you to discuss, me or football.
Ok, it seems that your main topic of interest is ME (not surprising or unusual). I use the "fraternity" point because it makes 100% sense to do it. Show me ONE post where I said something unreasonable or unpleasant on this board without first being attacked by some teen level poster. I will save you the time, you can't. I am unpopular for not blindly following the crowd who thinks they run this place. Show me unreasonable posts I have made about fantasy football or the NFL... show me where I have instigated hostility here like several others do all the time. Again, every one of my posts can be found on this board, and you will find zero examples (though I am sure some of the frat boys will scurry around the message board archives looking for something, because this REALLY DOES matter to them.. sadly)
Fantasy football has had a stunning period of CONSISTENT GROWTH because it is a great game to play. I did not see checkers explode after the 94 baseball strike and the advent of the internet. Fantasy football, even with a snake draft is VERY POPULAR because it is VERY FUN and it is VERY FAIR. I am not saying we cannot tweek it to make it better, as our industry has now for year, but the main reason it is so popular is because it is EXTREMELY FULFILLING even without 3RR.
The majority of your post now seems to be something one would post toward someone who is NOT SUPPORTIVE OF 3RR. Sometimes poeple on a message board get so whipped into a frenzy that they fail to see the real points being made..
I COMPLETELY SUPPORT 3RR. Maybe you missed that part. I want to talk about football and wont return to this silly thread anymore... Have fun.
