Greg.....please don't allow one owners displeasure be the deciding factor for next year. If you poll the participants and find that 13 of 14 were grateful for your efforts then that's a pretty good %...right?

I am dumbfounded how anyone can say they didn't have enough time to find anyone, other than the players who weren't there. At the beginning, while others were nominating, I spent a while pre-selecting players I wanted to nominate, as it got closer to my turn, I would move up the one I wanted to nominate to the first slot and was ready to go. I still had about 20 players left to nominate after I was done myself.

I understand it was everyone's first time doing a draft there, but don't blame the software for your lack of how to use it properly. The system definitely has some glitches to be worked out, but c'mon RI, you nominated Finneran 2 times. Why was he still in your queue??

At the beginning I was a lil confused with a few things, but it wasn't that complicated once we started.

I really enjoyed it as it was my first auction ever as well. The site showed some promise, provided more players are added and a few glitches fixed.

Again, thanks to Tom and Greg for being the commish and for George at fantasyauctioneer for setting it up.

BTW, did anybody else notice the Test team had Hank Basektt on it???

I thought it went pretty smooth as well. At first thought one might think an auction draft online that would never work, but this draft went fairly quickly with only a few minor problems.

Some people just need to have some patience, and learn when to press the +1 button.

No, I won't let one comment sway my decision for next season and I was impressed that we were able to do 26 rounds in just over four hours. It was a great, great time and you guys did great. I've competed in those auctions before too and I realize that at times I wish I had an extra second to bid on a player or to nominate a player. At the end, Johnny's dial-up was slow and thus it was tough for him to make back-to-back picks without anyone qued up. That's a lesson to learn as the que is VERY important.

We'll do one next year and maybe more. I'm swayed in the right way. :D

I thought the auction was a blast. The player list could be cleaned up and there are a couple of other improvements to the site that could make it more user friendly, but overall it was a great experience.

I would definately do this again. The auction combined with the DC format is intense. This should be an option in future years for the diehards.

I as well had a great time, I would however like to take this time to thanks those teams (Zefurs, Route C and Gingley) for taking 3 defenses. Leaving me with one cause i refused to pay $3 for a browns, packer or saints D. :D

Next year, maybe someone can check over the player list, ie. Michael Koenen recently emerging as the starter, make sure he is in there.

Greg, good to hear you will offer a satellite auction next year...I did the baseball one this year too, it's fun and a great tune-up for the Vegas event.

Baskett for Pope when reporting to STATS...thanks!

As a few others have already said; this was also my first try at an Auction format. I would echo what seems to be the consensus of both the format and Auction site: the site itself wasn't 100% flawless as I was frozen out in attempting to raise bids on a couple players (Mi Clayton and B Favre) and was frozen out in the nomination process twice. But overall was satisfied with its functionality. The format was a blast, and maybe it was a result of my 1st attempt at an auction, but I found it a bit difficult in filling a position or two. But the 4 hours seemed to fly bye and it kept my interest for the entire time. I will definitely do this again next year, if its offered, and would encourage anyone else to give it a try if they enjoy either the Auction or Draft Champions format. By the way, for those teams that got only one Def., I really like the makeup of my 4!! :D
