I do. Too bad we don't have $150,000 on the line here like in the Primetime. I'd love to take my chances with this team.Sabretooth wrote:Yea gotta like that team tom.

Tom - curious about your selection of Bowe at 4.01? You really think he will score more than Nicks/Demaryius/Harvin or Austin?Tom Kessenich wrote:I agree. By my count there are around 23 WRs who I think can produce low-end WR1 type of production at worst. Granted, some come with more risk than others (like Demaryius Thomas, for example, or Kenny Britt) but there are A LOT of really good WRs on the board this year. When you only see five WRs being drafted in the first two rounds of a PPR league that tells you people see the depth available and aren't hesitant to go in another direction. I would've loved to have gotten White, Jennings or Green as my WR1 in the second but I felt confident the talent would be there for me in the third and it was. I had my pick of a number of good WRs who I really like at the 3/4 turn.Sandman62 wrote: I don't ever recall seeing so many potential top-10 WRs available in rounds 3-5 and it really does make for some interesting strategies this year.

In PPR I like him more. He averaged 1-2 points less than Nicks and Harvin last season and his QB situation was abysmal after Cassel got hurt. That speaks to his level of talent. If Cassel stays healthy, I think Bowe has Top 12 potential in PPR leagues. The last time Cassel was healthy, Bowe caught 15 TDs. I don't expect him to do that this season but I think his TD potential goes up significantly with Cassel back. Of Bowe's 5 TDs last season, 4 came in the nine games that Cassel played.Captain Hook wrote:Tom - curious about your selection of Bowe at 4.01? If Nicks didn't have the foot injury I would've taken him but foot/leg injuries to wide receivers worry me. I like Thomas' upside a lot but he's still a huge risk whereas Bowe is the clear No. 1 WR on his team. I never gave Harvin any real consideration there. I like him but not ahead of Bowe. I thought about Miles and like him a lot but again, not more than Bowe. The guy I strongly considered was Maclin. I think he could be in for a big season and I came very close to taking him. But I gave a slight edge to Bowe and went in that direction.

Was this being drafted as a DC, or as a redraft that isn't going to be played out?
