So it looks like most of us are Ok playing it out and putting in a $50 entry fee.... 1st place getting $400 and 2nd place getting $200. Now the question is.... Tom, how did you guys set it up? What were the rules and how do we play it out? I wouldn't mind using the same rules as the Rotowire 12-team leagues as the setup and playing out as if it were one of those leagues. Weeks 1 through 13...and using weeks 14-16 to determine clear cut No. 1 team, if needed.
Tom would that be too hard to set up?

OK, if everyone wants to play this out it will be set up as a 12-team NFFC satellite league. The rules are linked below
http://nffc.stats.com/football/leagues/ ... ellite.asp
As far as collecting payment and distributing prizes someone in the league will need to step forward to handle all that. If you can't find anyone to do that let me know. It's possible I could help out in that regard. But this league will not be part of our official NFFC prizes at season's end (neither is the other magazine league) so consider this a "private" league that we will be hosting and you guys will handle all the prize payouts. Sound good?

Sounds good. I vote James Chontos for commish. I have played with him in private leagues for over 5 years and he is a great commish

Thanks for the vote of confidence Ken! I think we need someone just to handle the money, shouldn't really need to much of a commissioner unless we are trading, which I don't think we are since Tom posted that we are playing under NFFC rules.keztoo wrote:Sounds good. I don't mind handling the money (it would be held in my paypal account and disbursed through paypal), if the other owners agree.

I don't mind. Since its 11 other owners that we don't really know anyway...we'll have to trust someone and since you've volunteered, I'm good with that.

Sounds good to me, as soon as it's determined James is the banker, send me an email addfress and I'll paypal the $$$. We're three weeks away, let's get everybody paid so we can set the deadline for the KDS. If I understand right, James (the banker) will have to contact Tom when everybody is paid up, then Tom will set up the league for us.keztoo wrote:Sounds good. I vote James Chontos for commish. So we won't know the draft order until we have all paid up? If that's the case....any way to speed it up? Does everyone even read these post's? Anyway we can send an email to all to notify the paypal email to send the money?

Raj, I'll send a KDS email when we get closer to the draft date that will explain everything. Still plenty of time to get everything set up but I'm on it. I promise.
