Nice. :)

He goes to my bench until the Jets start using him more intelligently. I'm not sure how or why anyone would think Chris Johnson is a guy who should only be getting carries between the tackles. He can't do that. He should be getting 4-5 receptions per game and used in space. The Jets did that in Week 1 and not surprisingly Johnson had a big day. They didn't do that the last two games and not surprisingly he's sucked. I've never been an NFL head coach or coordinator but I know enough to know that plowing Chris Johnson between the tackles 10-15 times a game is pointless. We'll see if the Jets can figure that one out on their own.

Nope which is why I thought he'd catch some passes. A RB named Chris did that but it was Ivory which I'm pretty sure nobody saw coming.

With the way Ivory plays and his history, it is a good bet he will be injured within a week or two. But absolutely agree.....get CJ in space and let him do his thing.

Yup, that's another reason why I was pushing Johnson so hard as a value pick. No way Ivory plays all 16 games and in the games he misses Johnson should get serious volume, even if Powell's role increases. But I fully expected the Jets to use Johnson more in the passing game for two reasons 1) It's the best way to get him in space which is where you want him and 2) They have extremely limited weapons in the passing game.

I thought Johnson's usage in Week 1 was damn near perfect (Ivory also did well that week) but the last two games his usage has consisted almost entirely of pounding him between the tackles which I consider to be flat-out moronic. It's like the Broncos turning Peyton Manning into a read option QB. Why take someone and do something that's almost 180 degrees removed from what his strength is? Really poor coaching.
