Wow Tom, looks very similar to our BillyWaz draft last night (we took Austin at 1.13, then DMac instead of your Charles, then Wayne at 3.2). We also strongly considered Deangelo in rd4, but I overruled my son and took Daniels. We could've waited and gotten Winslow too, but I think Daniels has top-5 potential.
As for Wayne... yes, his YPC was down last year, but is that just because of him, or was it also influenced by Clark and Collie being out and Garcon hobbled, so Wayne was forced to slip underneath more? I have him around 85/1100/7, which keeps him in the top-10, IMO. But I totally agree his season obviously hinges on Peyton. But the top-5 upside is there and we, like you, couldn't pass on him at the 30th overall pick.

Yeah, the value was simply far too good at that point with Wayne, Mike. I couldn't pass on a proven PPR stud who has topped 100 receptions the past two seasons. Even if he declines (reasonable assumption), he would have to become practically worthless to drop beyond the value where I got him. I just don't see that happening.
I agree with you about Daniels and strongly considered him a round or two before I took Winslow. But I felt I could still get a top TE a bit later and I did. I like Daniels a lot, though, and agree he has Top 5 potential.

Here's Tom's FBG Team: Have At It
QB-Drew Brees
QB-Jay Cutler
RB-Jamaal Charles
RB-DeAngelo Williams
RB-Jonathan Stewart
RB-LaDainian Tomlinson
RB-Jason Snelling
RB-Marion Barber
WR-Miles Austin
WR-Reggie Wayne
WR-Mario Manningham
WR-Lance Moore
WR-Nate Burleseon
WR-Dezmon Briscoe
TE-Kellen Winslow
TE-Ben Watson
TE-Fred Davis
K-Garrett Hartley
D-Eagles
D-Bucs Stud QB - Check
Stud RB - Check
RB Depth - Pretty good as the Carolina duo should suffice and Barber may just be the goal line back. That is if the Bears can get near the goal line.
Stud WR Core = Check + 3
WR Depth = Excellent as I really like those four from any draft slot. I agree with the thought that Wayne in the 3rd is a good place to get him though I do wonder who else was there as I have a few more in that round with greater upside this year.
Stud TE - no but the WR depth will overcome those few weekly points.
TE Depth: Davis could be big if Cooley is not healthy and that is looking more likely. Winlsow continues to be passed up by most players though he was 7th in targets by TEs in 2010 and raked in 66 receptions. What is really going to change for his this year?
I like this team and that itself could be the kiss of death! Sorry Tom.

Ha. I'll still take my chances, Rob. I love my WR depth. In a dual flex I like the idea of starting three RBs if possible but that's not happening with this team. However, having four big-time PPR WRs is a very nice luxury and I have that plus I like Burleson a lot as a strong bench option. I was very happy with the WR corps I put together last night.

Great drafting Tom. I really liked the Davis pick. Was the one guy I should of moved a round earlier on. Happy to be aboard here as well.

Two Red Ducks Were you in the draft last night Larry? Have you played in their Online Championship before? Just curious if last night's draft was representative of the norm.

Yep drafted pick 10 last nite in your league. Was the first online draft Ive ever done with them. Nothing to compare with other than the wcoff online drafts Ive done over the years. It was a bit on the slow side but I felt that those picking near me 9-12 had different strategies so I was never fighting for the same players (good I hope lol)

It seemed similar to WCOFF drafts I've done in the past with some QBs falling but I thought there was a more aggressive pursuit of RBs. Should be a fun league.

Okay Larry, what's the basis of the Two Red Ducks name for your teams and MB? I'm trying to figure it out myself, like it's a drink or liquor or something, but I don't remember any top shelf brandys like that!! Clue me in man. Is it a poker term? I have no clue. Thanks and welcome to the NFFC.
