With no real talent at QB or WR on the roster I can see opponents stacking 8-9 men in the box to stop him cold. I hope he does well but he needs help from the other talent positions, which are sadly lacking.
Nolan has done well building a decent D but seems clueless as to scoring points and managing games, it all starts at the top! Simply HAS to get better...

The folks at Index asked that we not reveal anything about the draft other than our rosters so here's mine. I was pretty happy for the most part. I made one mistake I wish I had back but other than that I think this team is pretty solid. As stated it's a non-PPR league and it's a draft champions format which starts the following:
QB
2 RBs
3 WRs
TE
K
D
Here's my roster. Let me know what you think:
QB-Derek Anderson
QB-Philip Rivers
QB-Brady Quinn
RB-Frank Gore
RB-Earnest Graham
RB-Fred Taylor
RB-Selvin Young
RB-Adrian Peterson
RB-Jason Wright
RB-Kevin Jones
WR-Braylon Edwards
WR-Hines Ward
WR-Jerricho Cotchery
WR-Derrick Mason
WR-Drew Bennett
WR-Devin Hester
TE-Jeremy Shockey
TE-Donald Lee
K-Josh Brown
K-Shaun Suisham
D-Green Bay
D-Detroit
QB
2 RBs
3 WRs

Hey Tom, 2-questions...
Who was your 3rd round pick?
And what mistake were you talking about that you wish you could do over?

Graham was my third-round pick. I took Edwards in the second hoping Graham would be on the board in the third even though the RBs were flying off the board. He was and I snapped him up. I continue to be amazed at the great value he has in drafts right now. I think he has Top 10 RB potential and the beautiful thing is you can get him in the third round of most drafts. That's outstanding value in my opinion.
My mistake was taking Ward over Roddy White as my WR2. We did the draft by teleconference and I thought I heard White's name so I crossed him off my list. I took Ward and then White was taken a few picks later. My mistake and I wasn't happy about it but in a DC format I think Ward's durability issues are less of a problem so it may not hurt me too bad.

It looks like a good team Tom. As long as Anderson is the real deal, you should be competitive. Bennett could also be a diamond in the rough.

Yea I like Bennett and Hester in a DC format. Hester's a guy who could catch two passes in a game but both go for 50-yard TDs. So in a DC format I think he's a nice pick. The fact I got him in the 19th round made it even sweeter. I'm surprised he lasted that long.
I'm not really giddy about the Kevin Jones pick but that was my last pick and there was absolute garbage left. So I figured I'd roll the dice and hope Jones gets a backup gig somewhere this season.
