Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Jul 20, 2007 9:38 am

I like what I'm seeing in Chicago as I think we're headed towards a record year there for the NFFC's main event. We're glad to welcome another familiar face to the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st, although this is the first time he will be competing in the NFFC's main event. Allen Kimman of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota joined our NFBC competition for the first time this year and is having so much fun in baseball that he grabbed a spot in our football event. Welcome aboard Allen and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and $5,000 league prize.

What would one of our high-stakes events be without Todd Zola of Framingham, Massachusetts and www.mastersball.com in it? Todd says he has signed up for so many NFBC and NFFC events that Krause Publications is going to have to name a wing of the building -- or at least the cafeteria -- after him!! :D Well, step up to the buffet here at the NFFC, Todd. We're glad to announce that Todd will be joining us in Las Vegas once again for the NFFC main event, the $1,300 Auction League and the $650 Draft Champions League. We now have 10 owners for the $1,300 Auction League, so let's fill that one up. Last year, Todd led Lord Teeter to a third place finish and $500 in Las Vegas League 2 with a 9-4 record, placing 58th overall with 1,669.29 points. Lord Teeter then placed 47th overall in the Consolation Round. Todd's auction legue team -- The Z-Train -- finished 5-8 with 1,495.5 points and his Draft Champions League also finished out of the money with 2,183.6 points. Welcome back Todd and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $8,000+ in Auction League prizes and the $4,250 in Draft Champions League prizes.
