I agree with Bennett & Williams but I'm keeping an eye on Mewelde Moore. I watched this kid play 4 years at Tulane and he made Shaun King and J.P. Losman high draft picks. He has Roger Craig ability, both run and catch and has a lot younger and faster legs than Williams. Williams will keep his red zone job but I'm interested to see if Moore takes time away from Bennett.

I think Palmer is going to have to fall flat on his face for Lewis to turn to Kitna. And I don't see that happening. Palmer is going to struggle -- all rookie QBs do -- but he is talented, has some very nice weapons to work with (keep an eye on Kelley Washington) and a good running game. The Bengals will do everything they can to simplify the game for Palmer and he'll do enough to keep the starting job all year long.

No matter who the QB is, however, Chad Johnson's going to be a monster. The guy's the real deal and a true WR stud.

And Bennett is not going to lose carries to Moore. I've been pimping him for months, but more importantly Tice has made it clear Bennett is his guy. The Vikings have even begun using Bennett in goal-line situations in practice because Tice is determined to keep Bennett on the field as much as possible.

The only concern with Bennett is durability. This guy has serious talent, but he needs to prove he can stay healthy for an entire year. If he does that this season, look out. Behind that offensive line, Bennett is going to make a lot of fantasy owners very happy this season.

But there's no indication Carson Palmer's a raging idiot like Ryan Leaf. :D

Rick, that living in Louisiana and travelling to South Carolina for work sure lets you scout a lot of players, doesn't it??? ;) You are indeed one big football fan, I can see that.

Kelley Washington has the physical tools to be a GREAT wide receiver. Remember, he spent about five years in the Florida Marlins' organization and at 6'3", 218, he has great size. He just gets hurt so easily, that he's a question mark. But Palmer and Washington came in together last year as rookies and those tandems sometimes stick together. He's a worthy late pick.

Forgot to mention I grew up in Baltimore so my brother-in-law is keeping me posted on what's going on in Ravens camp. Having lived and worked in 17 states has given me a chance to see a lot of football both college and pro. I already have tickets to the Ravens-Giants game Dec.12, Texas A&M-K-State on Oct. 2, and an LSU game that I can't remember. Makes for a fun winter!!
