If we add over/under for playoffs that would solve the super bowl problem, so let's run with that. Contest runs thru SB with ov/un added for playoffs.

A couple more fine tuning...

A penalty for "missing/forgetting" a week. (inactivity)

Having all picks be a secret until released, to minimize gaming vs. posted picks or copying.

edited to add I see my post was already covered.

I could also run this and not be in if that helps with the "secrecy" issue.

I would post the lines and collect, assemble and post the entries each week.

I would even analyze the data to look for trends within the data.

If we each added 50 points to the entry, we could vote on a "real" play for the week. If a majority of the group likes a game, we could go live with some units? An impromptu investment opportunity using the hegdings of the combined knowledge base for the group.

Just let me know.

Just let me know. :D The contrarian side could be worth a mint considering how the majority seem to lose their shirt with this type of betting.

Will there be a ten cent line?

Example...you need to bet 110 to win 100?

Can you bet moneyline? (I assume no to that.)

Make all bets even money?

All half point spreads to eliminate ties?

Duke: where are picks made? Can owners change them prior to the deadline? What if two owners are basically tied going into the final weeks...can they pick the same teams, ie, can the team with the most $ wait until the other team picks and then just copy them?
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?
