Who Is Competing In Both Main Events?
I love the interest in both main events and we are almost ready to announce our bonus prize as the contract is now in hand. We currently have 60 teams doing both NFFC main events as we welcome our last team to enter the greatest fantasy football Draft Day doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 30th. Let's give it up for the tag team of Jerry Iwanski of Middleboro, Massachusetts and Andrew Soliwoda as they will be joining us at the New York Sheraton Hotel & Towers for the NBC Sports NFFC Classic and NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main events. This is their first live event with us and they are jumping ALL IN. Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prizes, the $5,000 league prizes and the special bonus prize for winning both events.

We now have 62 owners competing in both NBC Sports NFFC main events as we welcome another NFFC veteran to the greatest fantasy football Draft Day doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 30th. Brian Swaw of Elwood, Illinois is back with us for a second season and he will be drafting main event teams in the NFFC Classic and Primetime events in Chicago with us. Brian is the fantasy expert for the Chicago Tribune and ESPN Radio 1000, so we're glad to have another industry insider competing with us. Welcome aboard Brian and good luck in the hunt for both $100,000 grand prizes and both $5,000 league prizes, along with the special bonus to be announced soon for winning both events.

Who Is Competing In Both Main Events?
Okay, who said this $1 million bonus wasn't going to entice a few folks to try both events? We've added seven names to the list since Wednesday's announcement and now have 73 owners signed up for both main events and the shot at a $1 million bonus. We're glad to have added:
James Mack of Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania in New York, although he's trying to join us in Las Vegas.
Duke Viveros of Highland, California, who is joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas as always.
Steve & Alex Pletkin of Windsor, California, who extended their stay in Las Vegas one extra day to add the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime to their doubleheader of fun.
Ted Baehman of Deerbrook, Wisconsin, who is doing both main events in Las Vegas and both $650 Auction Leagues in LV.
John Piontek of Orlando, Florida, who won an NFFC league title last year and is claiming home field advantage this year in Orlando with entries in both main events.
Joe DiGalbo of New York City, another Championship Round entry from last year who is returning to New York for both events.
Christopher Vaccaro of Staten Island, New York, Joe's buddy who is also competing in the NFBC right now. Chris will also be in New York for both main events and the shot at the $1 million bonus.
And Joseph Jefferson of Denver, Colorado, who was with us in 2004 in Las Vegas for our debut event and returns after a three year absence. Joe is joining both main events and both $1300 Auction Leagues for the NFFC Quadfecta. Gotta love and welcome back Joe.
Okay, how's that for a wild weekend of signups? Not bad while I took a few days off. Welcome aboard all and keep the signups coming in. This should be fun, fun, fun.

Who can win the $1 million bonus in the NFFC this year? Well, right now we have 74 teams in the hunt for that dog as Pete Wakely of Downers Grove, Illinois has jumped into both main events in Chicago. Pete is an original NFFC member who has been with us since 2004. Now he has a shot at two $100,000 grand prizes, two $5,000 league prizes and a $1 million bonus. Thanks Pete and good luck.

Let's add Larry Schechter of Rexford, New York to the mix for the $1 million bonus as he has jumped into the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime event today after already being signed up for the NFFC Classic main event. Larry has a little experience in winning national titles as he won the CDM Diamond Challenge national contest in 2002 and again in 2005, becoming the only two-time winner of the contest. He said the odds of that happening are far greater than the odds of winning both NFFC titles this year. Welcome aboard Larry and best of luck in both events.

Who Is Competing In Both Main Events?
We now have more than 80 owners doing both main events this year as we added five more owners to this list yesterday. Yeah, not a bad day indeed. Let's give it up for the following:
John Reuss of Toms River, New Jersey joined the NFFC last year, was glad that we added the 12-team format this year and was already signed up for the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime event in New York. But once the $1 million bonus came around, he couldn't resist and jumped into the NFFC Classic format as well. He promises me that he will do better in the 14-team format this year, and what the hell, he might just go ahead and win both!! Welcome aboard John and good talking with you this week.
John's good friend Philip Popo of Newark, Delaware was already signed up for the NFFC Classic main event and he also decided to jump in for the second main event -- in this case the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime -- and will also be going after the $1 million bonus. Thanks Phil for twisting your brother's arm to get in this one and best of luck to you in NY in the pursuit of the $1.2 million in prizes.
