Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
New York has just passed Las Vegas as the biggest site for our NFFC main event as we are close to finishing our seventh league there. Three die-hard fantasy football players from Tampa have been talking to Tom for weeks about attending our main event at the New York Hilton and they took the dive today. Let's give it up for Edward Killmer, Corey Killmer and Bryson Raver from Tampa, Florida as they push us past 18 full leagues overall for the main event. Give Tom credit as he dangled extra drink tickets out there (naughty, naughty) and got these guys in. Thanks Edward, Corey and Bryson and best of luck to each of you in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We welcome back yet another money winner from 2004 as Andy Perrine becomes our 153rd owner back from 2005. Andy led his Red Eye Posssums to a 7-6 record in Chicago League 1 last year, finishing third in his league and 54th overall with 1,691.4 points. The Red Eye Posssums then finished 26th overall in the Consolation Round with 557.81 points. Great season last year Andy and good luck again this year in the main event in Chicago. The $100,000 is there for the taking this year!!!

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Okay, let's wrap up a good day by welcoming two new members to the growing NFFC family as we work on our 19th full league among the three cities. Tony Finn of www.FantasyVIPs.com is joining me in Las Vegas next week for the Fantasy Sports Trade Conference and has decided to stick around an extra day and compete in our NFFC main event at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino. Tony also runs www.pfscharitychallenge and is a good guy in the industry. We're glad to have him in our main event and we wish him best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
Dennis Murphy of East Rockaway, New York knew that he was going to enter the NFFC's main event, but he couldn't decide between New York and Las Vegas. He finally hooked up some sweet airline tickets and has signed up for the main event in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. That signup brings us close to a 7th full league in Las Vegas, so let's keep it going. Thanks Dennis and we'll take good care of you out there!!! Oh, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We welcome back our 154th team from 2004 to the 2005 event as the guys from www.fantasyjungle.com keep their streak alive by playing in all of our baseball and football main events. Scott Gunaca and Mike Williams run online high-stakes games on FantasyJungle.com and they even have to monitor drafts on Saturday, Sept. 3rd during our main event. But they couldn't resist our competition and will be on the phone with Tim Culbertson, who will be manning the draft table at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. The fantasyjungle.com team went 9-4 in Chicago League 2 last year and earned second place league money with 1,758.05 points, which was 28th best overall. Fantasyjungle.com then scored 582.64 points in the Championship Round to finish 13th overall. Great job last year guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize this year.

Okay, we're going to make a strong run at the Draft Champions League in Las Vegas and close up that second league there. Gordon Gekko, part of our defending $100,000 NFFC champion, is back in the Las Vegas Draft Champions League after getting the itch for just one more draft in Las Vegas. Once he saw that 13th spot he received in the Ultimate League, he got sooooo excited about Draft Day that he HAD to add one more league. Glad to have you in all four events in Las Vegas, GG, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 league prize. We'll have some fun, I promise.

Timothy Stevens of Downey, California competed in our NFBC draft in Las Vegas in March and was looking forward to our main event in Las Vegas this September until he learned that his local league draft is also that day. As a result, he's decided to grab one of the remaining Draft Champions League spots and will compete on Friday, Sept. 2nd at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. Tim becomes our 25th team owner in Las Vegas, leaving us with three open spots. Thanks Tim and good luck in the hunt for the $4,250 league prize.
We have two other owners on the hook for this one, so if you're serious about competing in Las Vegas, call now. This also means we won't have any phone hookups for the Draft Champions, so let's get busy in Chicago and New York. Thanks everyone.
