Start/Sit Week 4

Post by The Franchise » Sat Oct 03, 2009 1:57 am

Any advice would be appreciated.

3 spots to fill out of the following 4 guys:

McFadden @HOU
Rice @NE
Coffee vs.STL
Moreno vs.DAL
Winning isn't everything, but the will to win is.

I'm looking at 2 of these 4 in wcoff:

Reggie Bush vs Jets
Leon Washington vs NE
Mewelde Moore vs SD
Willis McGahee vs NE

McGahee is hard to sit but I'm definitely worried about him only getting 7 touches last week. Moore has a great matchhup but I also like Leon this week. Jets only give up 3 catches/game to RB's so will Bush be limited? Any Thoughts?

[/QUOTE]We're wrestling w/ the same Moore vs. Leon decision in our Classic. Leon's in a near-50% split and on the right side of it should the Jets fall behind. Plus Schottenheimer's comments this week about "not having any specific plays for each RB" COULD be a precursor to getting Leon even MORE involved after Jones only managed 20 yds rushing on 14 carries last week?

We don't know what the split will be for Moore/Mendenhall, but we do know if the Steelers fall behind, Moore will likely get "Moore" than 50%. Ditto if Mendenhall isn't effective at blocking and gets Ben hammered a couple times. I just think that, w/ PIT at home, where they've won something like their last 7 games and last 5 there vs. the Chargers, AND... probably still stinging from their loss to Cincy last week... AND w/ Sproles very unlikely to have any running success up the middle,... I think PIT keeps this game low-scoring and runs to keep Rivers off the field.

We're probably rolling w/ Leon, but it's virtually a coin toss IMO. Good luck.

Ironically, in the Primetime, we're starting both McGahee and Bush also (as well as Moreno). I think Bush will lineup as a WR more than most RBs, so I'm not worried so much about the Jets holding other RBs to only 3 recs/gm.

It's a lot more fun making decisions from nice upside guys than from guys you would rather not be playing. :D I think I'm rolling with Leon and McGahee this week.

In our auctin league we lost Gore and Felix, Deangelo is on bye so we are going with Adrian Peterson and Mewelde Moore. (No it's not he Minnesota Peterson. ) I would much rather have a tough choice than this one being handed to me.
