Hey snake...I haven't talked to you in awhile. Are you all prepared and fired up for the first annual Snake Classic? I'm ready to go. It should be a fun MB during the draft. I hope all is going well for you, Mrs. Snake and little snake. It's pretty obvious why is Ponch avoiding this auction draft....I can smell the FEAR drifting across the country from the left coast. Too bad he doesn't have the coconuts to play in the only league that eliminates all drafting luck.

Damn I wish I could get in this league, but with practice, a meeting scheduled that night, and the Snake Classic AND BillyWaz Memorial the next 2 nights I simply can't.

It would be fun to bang around on you guys in the auction format, but I guess I will just have to wait a couple weeks for the Chicago players, and until 2007 in NYC to take out Snake, Johnny, and Eddie! :D

Yeah it is too bad Billy. Hopefully this online auction works OK because as I said before....this is a great tune up for Chicago.

It will be good for Chicago, but my experience has been that all it takes is 2-3 new faces in an auction, and it can COMPLETELY change the values of many players.

In other words, just because Larry Johnson goes for $50 in this league don't expect him to be that cheap come September 1st! ;)

Another though is the "Chicago sandwich" you found your way into the middle of. Don Thompson at #6, Scarecrow at #7, you at #8, and GLY at #9.

By the end of the night you are going to feel like you have been rode hard and put away wet!

I will think about getting in this one but like BWAZZ my schedule is loaded. Love the format, though, and see it as something that could catch on big for future DC drafts.
