Potential Scoring Change
Maybe this question has been answered in the past and I am not picking either side on this one as I understand both points of view, as well as both points have flaws, but(run on sentence) why is there a need for a deadline to change "official scores"? If Elias finds a change 3 weeks down the road and changes a 10 yard sack to a ten yard run why wouldn't the official scoring change be made by the NFFC regardless of the time it was caugh and corrected? In a contest where you invest $1300 with a shot at $100,000 based on how many total points you score, isn't it fair to us as the customer to get the exact amount of total points we score? Heck we could have 20 scoring changes in a year for an average of 1 point each and I may be the most unlucky bastard around and have 12 of those effect me. If those 12points would have won me my league and the 100K then why in the hell wouldn't I deserve to have those points if those stats were official? I understand the rule is in place and we live with it, but for future, why even have a deadline? Maybe I am a fool and don't understand FAAB, but whether I have 1000 points and am 6-1 or have 990 points and am 5-2 does not effect how I bid, or who I bid on, so again why even have a deadline? The point is to get total points right and not overlook potentially impactful scoring changes.
In conclusion, long winded and all, not asking for a change to the rules now. Not saying Nag is right, Tom and Greg are right. I just want to know why the silly rule is even in place?

2) there is no side to pick. the rules are in place for this year. if you don't like them, too bad.
3) scoring has to be locked in so you know who wins/loses each week, who makes/doesn't make the playoffs, etc... imagine making the playoffs only to find out a week later your team has been booted because of a late scoring change.

Well thanks GG, but imagine the other side, finsing out after missing the playoffs that you should have been in?

Like I said, I understand both sides, but I just don't get why we don't want to get it right in the end. Maybe this is the fairest way to do it, but it sure would suck to win or lose either way if a change was made after the deadline, whether that deadline is wednesday ro friday or even the week after.

I agree Friday morning is probably the best case scenario with wins and losses playing a factor. In the end wins or losses or even overall point impacts will be impacted and will suck either way.
Thanks and have a fine evening. Time to go throw my washing machine out the window the forking broken pile of overpriced crap!!!
