Players Owned in Multiple (MOST) Leagues:
Ben Roethlisberger
Michael Vick
Ryan Williams
DeMarco Murray
Hakeem Nicks
Darren McFadden
Antonio Brown
Dez Bryant
Under-performance is one thing (and I know there's plenty to go around here and elsewhere on my teams) but EACH of these players will have missed at least a single game to multiple games due to injury. The final double deathblow was Big Ben/Vick this past weekend which has mercifully put me out of my misery. Man oh man what a tough and humbling season this has been.
P.S. As a precursory comment - NOT complaining here but rather simply venting for those ready and willing to jump in and criticize.
How Do You Think This Owner's Season Is Going?
Re: How Do You Think This Owner's Season Is Going?
I'm sure you knew going in that, though they all had upside, half of them also either had known injury histories or were already injured in preseason.

Agreed.Sandman62 wrote:I'm sure you knew going in that, though they all had upside, half of them also either had known injury histories or were already injured in preseason.
Ben Roethlisberger (always misses at least one game, but is tough)
Michael Vick (if you counted on more than 13 games, you were kidding yourself)
Ryan Williams (injured a lot at VT, serious injury last year, HUGE red flag)
DeMarco Murray (another guy who can't stay healthy)
Hakeem Nicks (always "nicked' up, and had issues early...big risk/reward pick)
Darren McFadden (seriously.....do I have to say anything? )
Antonio Brown (easily the best pick, based on injury history here....tough break)
Dez Bryant (is an idiot......I'm sure you knew)
So I don't think you have anyone to blame for your misfortune but yourself.

i don't think a team with these guys finishes in the money even if they stay healthy. the qb situation would have been acceptable though nothing special, ryan williams was awful when he played, murray was okay, nicks is awesome when healthy but his injury status was known at draft time, mcfadden was bad, brown okay alright and his injury was unexpected, and dez had been healthy for the most part.BillyWaz wrote:Agreed.Sandman62 wrote:I'm sure you knew going in that, though they all had upside, half of them also either had known injury histories or were already injured in preseason.

i wouldn't say they were bad picks at all. a lot of these guys just didn't work out because their lines were so bad (williams, murray, mcfadden) even moreso than health. it happens though, last year i was all over best, andre johnson, santana moss, and nate burleson. you can guess how my seasons turned out!
