Brett Favre hurt?

Post by Ry's Guys » Sun Oct 24, 2010 3:33 pm

What a warrior they say? I don't think he was really hurt it just seems he's "hurt" when he throws a pick. Vikes should put in Jackson and hand off to AP 30 times a game. They'd have a better shot to make the playoffs that way! Did you see Greenway on the sidelines when he just thew that last pick? I don't think his teammates really dig him.

The Vikings play calling in this game is pretty bad.

That hand off to Peterson where he lost two yards was atrocious. Why not line Peterson up 20 yards back and have the entire GB defense come in before you hand him the ball???

Why they aren't using Peterson as a receiver is completely baffling to me. When the guy gets even a slight hole he makes the most of it. Why not give him the ball in space???

Well Moss clearly showed everyone what he thought of the coaching before the end of the first half. They had timeouts remaining!

Unless you were watching a different game, he was definitely hurt when he threw (or thought he threw)the game wining TD. He is a warrior. Did you see the pictures of his leg and ankle after the Saints game last year. If not, you have no idea.

You can say whatever you want about Favre, but Childress was a fool in his play calling last night. The Packers lost two defensive linemen and were playing two guys I barely even knew. I think AP could have had a field day if they had stuck with him more often. There was no reason to let Brett win that game. AP could have done it on his own.

And throwing to Toby instead of AP makes no sense on those swing passes. When AP gets a screen pass and is in the open field, OH MY!! You just hope to hold him to 20 yards. The Vikings so underused AP last night it wasn't funny.

Wow, the way to beat the Vikings is to spread them out and go against their strengths on defense. They never take out EJ Henderson or Greenway, so go 4 wide or 5 wide all night long. At times Henderson was guarding Jennings. But McCarthy wanted to go out of the I at times or play smash mouth football, like on fourth and 1, which is stupid. On fourth and 1, go 5 wide and trust me you'll get a yard. McCarthy almost blew that game and he knows it.

But at least he did go 4 wide more than he has in the past against Minnesota and it worked when they ran it.
