So here's an interesting question - in two parts -
1 - If Brissett gets hurt for the Pats during the game - and Julian comes in - I assume we would get all his WR points for the day PLUS his QB production.... Correct?
2 - If by some rare occurance Julian steps in and does well and is named starter the following week, what then?
Number two is not likely - but number one is just a hit away....

Julian Edelman - Back up QB
Julian Edelman - Back up QB
Ohhhhhhhhh, it's a PROFIT deal!
Re: Julian Edelman - Back up QB
With the Pats playing tonight, can we get a ruling on this today please? Thanks.

31. Player Eligibility
Players will be eligible at one position during the NFFC season and designated for that position before the season by STATS. Should a player move to another primary position before the start of the season, the NFFC reserves the right to give that player a second eligible position. No player will ever lose the eligibility originally designated by the NFFC, but a second position could be added if deemed necessary by the NFFC. All decisions made by the NFFC commissioner regarding eligibility are final.
Yes, Julian would get all of his QB stats from the WR position as no player would every lose that WR eligibility per the rules. Not sure there's anything to rule on here given what's stated in the rules, we already know that WRs get passing stats should they throw a pass. Edelman owners can all root for him to play QB in weeks 3 and 4.

Re: Julian Edelman - Back up QB
This is no different than a running back throwing a touchdown or a quarterback catching a pass etc. Those points are awarded as well. Same if Edelman plays quarterback tonight. If he plays quarterback he will get those points. He won't gain a new position in terms of eligibility, he will just get the points he accumulates.
